Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I wouldn't leave 1 star if I didn't have to. This place had been open since 1030 am and it was 4pm now and we tried opening the doors and they were locked. The waitress said I guess no one unlocked it today. So, now we are the only customers in the entire restaurant and we couldn't get anyone to wait on us. I kept on saying hello, is anyone taking orders? One employee was washing down the ceiling and another was filling ice up in the drink machine but no one would wait on us. Employees were walking around everywhere and no one would say anything. Finally, an employee came up and took our order. Another customer came in and she couldn't get anyone to wait on her. After 10 min or so she started asking if anyone was taking orders and no response so she walked out. Another customer came in and stood around about 12-15 min asking if anyone could take her order. Finally someone showed up. She kept saying aloud that this was ridiculous and no one, not even a manager came to check on anyone. I will never stop there again and I will recommend no one else to go there. Horrible service. Food was even cold when we received it. I don't know if an assistant manager or manager was there but if so, they need to be retrained or just fired because they weren't supervising their employees. This was in...

Been here several times hopeful that we'd have a good experience. Never happens. Sometimes you'll get lucky & have a nice employee working the window, but the food & ice cream are always a bust. The folks behind the counter are very loud, cussing, and just standing around like they aren't there to do anything except take & make orders. The inside is always nasty. If you got time to lean, you got time to clean! Too many teenagers with no respect & the managers I've encountered aren't any better. But, hey! That seems to be the experience you get in most of the restaurants here in Fayetteville.... or any small town for that matter. Thankfully, we chose to stop at the DQ on Oakwood Ave. In Huntsville, AL once (expecting even worse service due to the location) & believe it or not, it was a very spectacular experience! We've gone back multiple times since then & guess what... great customer service, great hot food, great ice cream (weighed out perfectly), clean store (bathrooms too), etc... everything a restaurant should provide! That's now our go to DQ. Get it together DQ of Fayetteville. Folks WILL take their business elsewhere. If not for your customers, you would NOT...

I ordered 2 of your warm triple brownie ala modes with extra fudge sauce from your drive thru and when i got home 22 miles away and opened the bag to my surprise there was no ice cream on either one and no extra fudge sauce on either one. I called the establishment and they did offer for me to drive all the way back there and they would make it right, but it was 8:30 at night and i was not going to do that. They have offered to make it right for me tomorrow and i appreciate that, but i really was not planning on goung out that way tomorrow even though i said i would. I am a disabled Veteran and on a very small income and once in a while i treat myself and my wife to yalls sweets, so just driving that far to get what i should have gotten in the first place is costing me more than i planned. Just wanted to let you know that sometimes making it right by replacing the mistake doesn't always make it right for the customer. Thank you.....
