According to Google maps I haven't eaten here in about 6 years, So my review may not reflect the current situation at the Villa.

Tacos: They are solid, nothing spectacular. I'd usually order carnitas and lengua. (6.5/10).

Quesadillas: If you've had a good, hearty quesadilla, then you'll know what to expect from Los Bigotes. Again, nothing spectacular. (7/10).

Wet Burritos: This is where they start to shine. I'd venture to say that these are the best wet burritos in the south sound, maybe Washington. Substantial in every way, they don't load up on cheap fillers. The score is only limited by your imagination at the salsa bar, which brings me to my final category. (9.5/10).

Salsa bar: Every score above can easily be taken up a point through skilled navigation of the ample selection and robust flavors of their salsa bar. Touting various levels of heat and acidity, all of their salsas bring something to the table. For me, one stands above the rest though. Their avocado salsa has left me yearning for a close 2nd all over the country, with valiant efforts falling short time after time. I've even tried my hand at a couple of recipes I found on the internet myself. 10/10

All in all, it's worth stopping in for the wet burritos, and the salsa makes everything else viable as...

At a first glance you might look at this place and think it is a "DIVE" but once you get inside it is cozy and inviting. It has some Mexican memorabilia on the walls and a flat screen at each end so no matter where you sit you can see the TV. The Service is great but the food here is the "ultimate show stopper"....I had the Carne Asada which they ask how you want your steak cooked (never been asked that at a Mexican restaurant before). It came with all the fixings and was perfect. My son opted for the wet chicken burrito and said he would be coming here instead of Chipotle (life changer for him too). I f I didn't drive I would take 4 buses to get here, yes it's that good!!! 5 stars on the salsa bar with veggies and 5 heat levels of salsa....mmmmm this place is my new go to spot for awesome Mexican food fast made from scratch and they don't advertise so it's never packed but don't that let fool you, they surpass Azteca and El Torritos by far. Next time I go I will be trying the Torta, I can't wait! The waitress even gave me a bag of extra chips for the road without asking for them, and no charge! No one does that anymore!!!!! This place has the right...

A friendly and hopping neighborhood establishment that serves generous, yet tasty portions with fast service. Would recommend swinging on through if you're in the neighborhood, but watch out, the turn to get in sneaks up on you.

I had the camarones a la diabla and found them to be optimal in their spice (I am of South East Asian heritage and consider myself a medium in terms of spice tolerance) to flavor ratio. Their salsas tasted incredibly bright and fresh, (the secret to getting the green salsa out of the container is to pop the lid), and the horchata was full of that creamy cinnamon flavor you can only find in authentic restaurants.

The location is a bit cramped which gives it an intimate, hole in the wall feel which is absolutely my jam but might not be to your liking if you're reading this during the Phase 2/3 COVID-19 times. Fortunately, they offer take out/to go service and are prompt in getting you taken care of.

All said - Los Bigotes de Villa is a great family Mexican restaurant and I will definitely make a point of paying them another visit when my travels take me through their...

Bigotes Villa is a Mexican restaurant worth trying, offering authentic flavors right in the heart of the city. The food here is quite good—each dish is flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. The beef tacos and quesadillas are especially recommended, with perfectly crispy shells and generous, well-balanced fillings. The accompanying salsa and guacamole are also tasty and elevate the overall experience. The restaurant space has a cozy, laid-back Mexican vibe, making it suitable for both groups of friends and couples looking for something different. One of the biggest pluses is the reasonable pricing for the quality of food and service. The portions are well-sized and fairly priced, unlike many other foreign-themed restaurants. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, always ready to help if you're unfamiliar with Mexican cuisine. Overall, Bigotes Villa is a solid choice if you’re looking to enjoy tasty Mexican food at a good price. It’s a great spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed evening meal.

Los Bigotes De Villa Taqueria – A Hidden Gem in Federal Way This place is the real deal! Los Bigotes De Villa Taqueria is a hidden gem tucked away in a vintage strip mall, but don’t let the modest setting fool you—the food here is outstanding. We’ve been coming here often, and everything we've tried has been consistently authentic and perfectly cooked. On our latest visit, my wife ordered the carne asada and chicken street tacos—both were packed with flavor and grilled just right. I had the arroz con camarones, and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were tender, the rice was seasoned beautifully, and the portion was generous. The service is always super friendly and fast, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a no-frills spot with top-notch Mexican food, this is it. Highly recommended!

Happy servers, happy cook, happy customers We ordered four different kinds of tacos, one wet burrito, and one menudo. Tacos are cheap and great value. The wet burrito was hands down the best burrito ever. You will be surprised of the size of the burrito. Menudo was hard to eat at first because the soup was pretty bland but it’s one of those things like uni, an acquired taste type of food. Menudo is a soup made of pork feet, stripe and other intestines altogether. It is served with tortillas and you basically make your style of a taquito with the meat from the soup and you can sip on the soup as you enjoy your taquito. I gotta be honest and say this soup is not for everyone but if you’re a food warrior then definitely try it. In general, love the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
