It's a middle balance shop. So the balance is this: good size portions with normally prepared food that doesn't skimp too much on the meat. You can get slight changes that you ask for, and the service was good for our visit. There wasn't too much crowding and the wait wasn't very long. This wasn't what I would consider standard teriyaki though it was more of stir fried chicken with veggies and an undefinable sauce. Your teriyaki will not be vegetable free but it also won't be overloaded. The food wasn't burnt but maybe a little well done. No brown rice options and the gyoza was $12.99, double what it is at most locations. When looking online the menu said teriyaki was $8 but in reality it was $14. This could have been the difference from a lunch menu that wasn't readily visible but it was a little bit of a shock when picking from the menu. I've absolutely had much worse especially around the local area, but this isn't the really good teriyaki that you find closer to the actual Seattle area. Overall I'd say it's a good stop if you're tired of the other places and you're hoping that maybe something about it will appeal to you. Most of the negative reviews I saw had to do with some other aspect of the experience so I can't really speak on them but the food was good enough to where if I'm in a jam I could stop in again and not be too disappointed. With some places if they earn it I'll be pretty heavy in my praise or really snarky in my review but as you may have guessed from this one it was average and pretty basic just like the past few paragraph you had to read through. Still, it's not too risky and you might even find something that's your...
Read moreOld lady is extremely rude. Made me wait several minutes which felt like an eternity since my order was sitting right in front of her while she waited for a credit card transaction to process (staring at machine, actively doing nothing), then proceeds to complain to Uber because I literally said "thumbs down" with a thumbs down gesture as I walked away out the door. She blew up and screamed "what did you say?" I was shocked she responded in such an aggressive manner. I said "you guys are slow and I will not return" old lady can't take any criticism and gives me a thumbs down via ubereats in a retalitory manner. I was polite the whole time, but I did show my disapproval, I think a thumbs down gesture is pretty innocent. Disapproving of their service gets me a thumbs down? Sad. Its 100% unreasonable to force me and my customer to wait an extra 3-5 minutes when she could have easily handed me the order. I showed her my phone immediately as I entered the establishment, she looked at it, but proceeded to say nothing and continue blank staring at the machine, perhaps hire someone who is more approachable and someone who actually communicates and possbily can multi task?
AVOID. ICHI TERIYAKI DOWN THE STREET...
