Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Fenton

There are a lot of different choices for pizza in Michigan. Not all are created equal (and more expensive doesn't mean better). That said, Hungry Howie's truly delivers (no pun intended).

Staff are kind and respectful. They are courteous and thorough. We order from this location fairly often and never get tired of it. We've ordered pizza, sides and everything in-between. The only time we had an issue with anything, it was the cookie (and the staff made it right - all I had to do was bring the cookie back for a refund).

Last night, my family ordered three pizzas and all were perfect. The bake was perfect, the toppings were appropriate, and the flavor was excellent. I always do carryout (because these folks work hard enough as it is, and they don't 'get what they deserve from people when they deliver). Think about the cost of gas and the low pay they get for the drive - and then how most people don't tip fairly. I would rather walk-in, see a smiling face and get the pizza hot and fresh. I bring a hot bag (just a freezer bag from Sam's Club) to keep mine hot until I get home.

I like everything I buy from here except that cookie (it just doesn't cook enough for me - but that's just a personal preference).

UNDER COOKED AND MESSED UP.

Customer of over 25yrs here. This store WAS wonderful...until the new little boy started working as manager or "shift leader." They screwed up my pizza and under cooked it. We called to have them correct the $25 pizza after a 20 minute drive to and from for pick up. The little boy got snotty on the phone and said that the sauce is supposed to be drizzled ontop on the pizza from a bottle vs under the cheese (looked like a toddler doodle on my food.) No sauce under the cheese so it was dry. He said he'd been working there just over a year and thats how he makes them. Ive been ordering the same pizza for 5 yrs now (new fav) and its NEVER been dry or UNDERcooked with thin lines of sauce doodled on it. He then hung up....very inappropriate. We called back and were put on hold for 15 minutes. He refused to get on the phone and hung up again. I got ripped off of having dinner and $25 of MY money. Sandy is an excellent manager there and had she been there my food would have been correct. Out of 25 years as a customer my food has only been messed up ONCE....this year since that boy started, its been screwed up almost every time. I am so over this. SANDY PLEASE FIX THIS! Order from here frequently. Ordered a pizza online and waited an hour. Online tracker said it was delivered. There was no knock or food outside my door. Called and explained this to the person who answered. They checked with the driver and told me it was delivered to the correct address. I repeated that there was no food delivered to my address. I double checked online that my address was entered correctly and it was as the person confirmed it. They gave me to a manager who I had to repeat 3 times to the manager that I had no food and I paid for it and waited an hour. Manager Sarah said that the driver delivered it to the correct address. I again said I have no food that I paid for and waited for. Manager said she’ll have it remade and re delivered in 10 to 15 minutes. How did my original order take an hour to be made and delivered (to the wrong address) but now it only takes 10 minutes..? Does not seem right. Really unhappy with the way this went. Will see how food comes out...
