I have debated on leaving one and two-star ratings here numerous times. After today, I settled on a two-star rating due to the fact that the food has never made us sick. I know that sounds bad, but hear me out...
First, we have never had a consistent order from this location. I could order the same sandwich ten different times and each time it comes out different. Always with a different aggressive excuse. ("Sorry, we are nearly out of turkey for your club sandwich - after bringing it out to me"). If you were out, why did you not just tell me before making it and I could have ordered something else.
We ordered three club sandwiches today and a hot dog (plain with pickles on the side). I am not sure how long the hot dog sat in the window, but it was cold (like out of the package cold). The club sandwiches were all three different. Two of them had tons and tons of mayo on them for some reason (while mine hand none). There were extra thick slices of tomatoes on one of the sandwiches, and the others had very thin slices. Two of them had loads of lettuce, while mine had almost none. All three had sparse amounts of actual meat (bacon and turkey). The turkey appeared to have been stretched from one sandwich worth to cover all three. I was really disappointed by this. I mean, I am paying nearly 7 bucks a piece for three basic sandwiches and they aren't made right (not even according to the pictures or description). I also get attitude when I ask for the actual meat it should have on the sandwich.
My wife unwrapped her silverware to use the one full size napkin they provide you with, and she couldn't use it. They had packaged her silverware (very disgusting and dirty - covered in what appeared to be dried egg yolk and mustard) in the napkin. So, my wife couldn't use the silverware or her napkin.
I have basically decided to be generous with the two-star rating. When the food comes out as it is supposed to, it's not bad. It's unfortunate. We used to come in here all the time about 5-7 years ago...now not so much. Not sure what changed but the quality is just not there anymore. I hope they figure out a way to care again and actually put out quality food with consistent delivery. I mean, when you order three club sandwiches to the same table, and then you can't stack lettuce, tomato, bacon and turkey the same, what are you doing?
On another note, we ordered 15 minutes before this old couple came in behind our table. Their food came out nearly 10 minutes before ours. It took a very long time to get 3 sandwiches, a hot dog and a salad. Not really any logic behind how they filled the orders or made the food. I wish them the best, and hope they learn to clean better and improve...until then...my family will simply not...
Read moreMy family and I went to leos for dinner last night. There is a rather large menu and I took sometime to look over the breakfast and Sandwhich options and explained to the waitress Sue that it all sounded good and I would need another minute to decide. She came back 2 minutes later and said she can't wait any longer and did everything she could and she would need our order. (Mind you there were only 6 tables in the resturaunt, all who had food already) My mom order a chicken ceaser wrap, my brother a farmers omelette, my boyfriend ordered a cornbread hash breakfast and I ordered a coney dog and fries. The breakfast food was horrible, Hash browns were soggy and the cornbread hash was horrible. My coney dog was cold but I was starving so I ate it because we couldn't find our waitress to bring it to her attention. When she finally came back she asked how it was. We told her the cornbread hash was horrible she said yeah it comes from a can. We explained the Hash browns were soggy and like mashed potatoes she said sorry and left the check. I paid the check the waitress asked how everything was I said horrible and she said she was sorry. Three out of four people at the table work in the good service industry. Our waitress was unattentive and did not try to help fix our orders. Leos was a good meeting spot halfway between our homes hut we will make the extra drive for friendly service and...
Read moreVery disappointed in how you treated your customers tonight . Clientele is quite often senior citizens .......yet you locked one of your doors close to handicapped parking right close to the entrance . Many seniors were confused , had to to walk all around the building ( with canes or just had a hard time walking ) . Not to mention the locked door is where pick up orders are done so those people also parked there to get their order ......only to find out they had to walk all around to the other side as well ! The attitude of the boss I overheard was he didn't care ......wanted the door closed to keep it warm inside . Fall has just started ! This IS MICHIGAN ....it's gonna get a whole lot colder . Why bother having your cash register and pick up area by the door then ? And I thought you need two exit doors available for emergencies . In just the hour I was there I wish I could have counted all the angry people .....including myself . My husband uses a walker or cane , we parked in the handicap space fir a reason.......yet we and others had to play your inconsiderate game you put on us after we already sat down . This is the second time your restaurant has upset us .....another time we walked out after being ignored / not waited on for at least 20 minutes ! Might be...
