Northland Chop Suey — Restaurant in Ferguson

Service is good. The person waiting on you is very friendly. They get a lot of call-ins so he is pretty busy. I am looking for somewhere that has very good food, for the place I have always got my food sold out and went into other ventures. This is definitely not it! I ordered their special fried rice, shrimp st.paul, 2 bags of chicken wings and a side order of pork for a good taste test. I got 3 packs of soy sauce, two sweet and sour sauce, and 3 red pepper packets. I asked for more soy sauce and then he said he didn't have any extra pork. Oh ooooo! He should have told me this when I ordered so I could get ham, duck, chicken, etc. Few of Chinese places gives enough meat anymore to begin with so I just order extra meat from the top. The St.Paul was good. I liked it. The chicken wings were the smallest I have ever seen. They were hard as rocks. These were chick wings, not chicken wings. I could put a hole in the wall with these small wings and fried as hard as they were, which should be if the wings were close to regular sizes. The fried rice was very dry-----although it didn't look dry in the box. The rice was very hard like it seemed it was not cooked enough before they prepared it for fried rice. It seems as if they are cooking raw rice and frying it with meat, spices, etc. and then boxing it. Never tasted anything that poor in any Chinese restaurant yet. Too bad this was my first time here, for it will be my last time here. They are just throwing this together and selling it as slop. I don't mind paying for restaurant food, but it should be edible. I had a call in order and still had to wait 30 minutes just to get to the counter to tell her what I ordered and my order was in front of her and she still didn't see it. I told her I ordered. 2 Special noodles, one with chicken duck and shrimp and the other 1, just special. She still couldn't get it right. So that's why I gave them a 1 for service..

The little woman at the counter needs to chill(Linda) before she touched....overall I'll give them a 5 because the food was Dammmnnn...

I always order Shrimp fried ricenwhen I go here and evertime I have to wait because they g live me shrimp fried the last two time I said over the phone remember not pork fried. Shrimp and same thing . The last Time I drove iff and checked the food ti go back again and I here them in the back and the sound frustrated and it took them abiut 22 minutes and my food was fried hard as plastic and I had so much MSG that I had inflammation in my leg and hip area for a few weeks...
