KFC — Restaurant in Fernley

Couldn't tell you whether the food was good or not... After spending 3 hrs and $500 at Walmart, extreme frustration had kicked in, but when I saw that KFC was still open inside, I was ecstatic. YES! I was really looking forward to my first meal of the day After waiting inside to give our order between 10-15 min, as we watched the drive-thru was taking orders and served, a server appears poking his head around the corner asking if we were waiting for an order? We replied that we still needed to order. As the server appeared while wiping off his face (which is all good lol apparently on a dinner break), he proceeded to take our VERY SIMPLE ORDER of the 8 pieces for $10. When I asked for all thighs, he insisted it had to be mixed, and I was good with that too (as long as I got my chicken), but when I asked for it to be ORIGINAL RECIPE and after my friend had placed what he wanted, I over hear him talking with the drive-thru server saying that my order can't be filled because the cars in drive thru had JUST TAKEN THE LAST of the ORIGINAL RECIPE. After waiting and watching cards coming and going w/food, the dine-in server was as shocked as me. I mean, he just got back from break and wasn't covered while on break or informed. Needless to say, THAT WAS MESSED UP. I shouldn't have to make a scene to place an order, but in this case, MY PATIENCE BIT ME IN THE BUTT. Granted it was nearly 8pm but honestly, it sure would have been nice to be informed that our server was on break and that there wasn't going to be a certain item available by the time he came back up. So I canceled my order and left disappointed. I'd think first come first served, but in this case, it's like... I'll clear the drive- thru and THEN I'll be right with...

I placed an order on-line before 6pm with a pick up time of 7:30. I live in Yerington so it would take me an hour to get there, and an hour back. I was there on time and my order wasn't ready, and I had to wait another 10 minutes. There was no one other than me in the restaurant, so it wasn't busy. I ordered an 18pc extra crispy bucket only, 2 chicken bowls, mashed potatoes and a chocolate cake What I received was 12 pieces of Xtra crispy drumsticks, 2 regular breasts and 4 thighs. This meal should have fed a family of 5, but it didn't. The drumsticks were so small and looked like they came from baby chicks. The chicken was overcooked and dry. I spent over $50 and I expected a decent meal after traveling so far to pick it up. The chicken bowls were okay but had some hard pieces in there, also overcooked. I placed my order the two items kind of guy yesterday evening one was the new basket the mashed potatoes with the bitfinite fan corn and gravy White Rose an adequate amount and actually quite good the second was a chicken pot pie for which I was very very very disappointed when I opened it up and it looked like it would be fun sipple with a large cover on it or just crusted justrite toasted just right but then when I got inside the disappointment Rose to new record hey the pie was less than half-full be there was only two pieces small pieces of chicken in it watery gravy and like I said I would very very disappointed both on quantity and quality how the unit I will never order another one from you folks again like that I just seen go to the scolari's and get one of their cheap banquet pot pies which would actually be more food and then when I got from your order again I'm very disappointed a bolide have again the Popeye...
