After looking at prior reviews for the Main Street location in Fernley. Obviously this location is poorly managed and that’s unfortunate for our small town. Today we went in store for our experience and I set my grandsons car seat on the small 2 person table so he wasn’t on the floor while we ordered. The girl Zoe that was at the register with her lacking customer service and obviously major control issues told me to pick another table because that was HER display table for her empty box display that isn’t even set up properly. (As seen in picture). Why do they have tables if the PAYING CUSTOMER can not use them so we chose to take our lunch back to the house because after spending 40$ on 4 sandwiches I wasn’t about to sit there because apparently it’s not Subway it’s a spoiled entitled Zoe’s sandwich shop. The other employees working provided great customer service but this employee (Zoe) has no clue about putting their customers over her control issues. That’s unfortunate because I usually tip very well. I don’t recommend using this location the girl at the register should probably not be dealing...
Read moreThe problem with this Subway location on Main Street and also the location inside the Walmart on Newlands is the ownership. These two franchisees are owned by Emma Harrison and she has absolutely ZERO customer service skills and the terrible reviews show this. The bread is constantly burnt, the workers always seem to cheap out on the meat portions and some of the employees seem like they really hate their jobs. When these concerns are brought up to Emma Harrison she simply dismisses them and refuses to correct the issue. I'd strongly recommend that dissatisfied customers contact corporate until something is done about it or better yet, simply stop going to these locations and maybe she'll get the hint and get a better trained staff. Contact corporate over and over again until she gets the message. Look at the pic of this burnt sandwich that Emma Harrison refused to remake! Terrible...
Read moreGood sandwiches depending on who's making them... sometimes they're soggy or sometimes too hard.. old veggies.. little stuff like that but the main problem is the owners friend is the manager and she employes her 3 daughters (who are a little bit on the rude side.. lacking in customer skills.) She tells her employees to cut the bread shorter than advertised, and not to use the ruler on the counter. They don't use the corporate ingredients for the sweet onion chicken, just to save money. They skim on the sauces using a 1/4 of what is required by corporate. by the way all this was admitted by multiple employees. I've never had a problem with any other locations. The bottom line is it shouldn't be a problem with rude employees, bad food, or anything like that when your just trying to get a sandwich. Good...
