Ferris Donuts — Restaurant in Ferris

This place is the best place for a quick and delicious breakfast! In fact, after my second visit there, it has become my go-to place for donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The first time I went, it was really, really early and there was only one car in line, and I got through quickly and easily and everything I got was delicious! The second time, there were four cars in line and I almost didn't stop because I figured it would be a long wait. I am so glad I got in line anyways despite my doubts because it moved way quicker than I expected. I got half glazed and half chocolate, a sprinkled donut, a cinnamon roll, an eclair, two huge sausage rolls, a sausage biscuit, a bacon egg and cheese croissant, and two chocolate milks. Everything was hot fresh and delicious, and those generous people even threw in some donut holes for free. Not only is the food great, and the service quick, but everyone that works there is so nice and so cheerful! Kudos to them for having smiles on their faces so early in the morning. If you have to wait a little longer then expected, it will be worth it. You will not regret...

The doughnuts are good but the kolaches are not. I'm not sure if they reheat them from the day before, because the hot dog part is always hard.

UPDATE i am updating my review because of the drive thru. The shop allows people to pull in from 8th street AND pull in from the back. The people who pull in from the street are basically cutting in line from the people who are already waiting. Not only that, people who pull in from the street are blocking on going traffic. I'm giving 2 stars because i asked the owners about fixing this and they said "there's nothing...

I paid extra for “variety of dozen donuts” and I didn’t even get one chocolate with sprinkles. instead, I got three regular glazed chocolate, three regular chocolate covered donuts. I mean it’s like really I didn’t even get a chocolate with sprinkles. So if you’re ordering and paying extra for a variety of donuts, please specify what you want because if you don’t, you’re gonna get the regular and regular chocolate covered very disappointed...
