They've been closing the dining room early lately. You can see customers getting irritated when they place their order at 8:20pm and they're being told they need to leave by 8:30pm when the sign out front says the place close at 9:00pm. I suggested to one of the owners kids who was taking the food orders to change their sign to say "dining room closes at 8:30, take out until 9pm". He gave me the attitude you would expect from a millennial, snowflake who's never been disciplined and said "too bad, deal with it or leave". I don't think his dad who was cooking understands English well or he might have educated his kid on customer service.
The two older guys who cook (assuming the owners) treat customers well, and the older of the two counter guys is good too.
The BBQ sauce here is amazing. It's a blend of Mexican and Traditional western BBQ flavor.

I recently visited The BBQ Place and tried their 3-meat combination, which included garlic bread, macaroni salad, potato salad, beans, and a selection of tri-tip, pork ribs, and beef ribs. The garlic bread was excellent—a perfect, flavorful start to the meal.
Among the meats, the pork ribs stood out as the best, with their tender texture and smoky flavor. Both the hot and mild BBQ sauces complemented the meat well, adding the right balance of spice and sweetness without overwhelming it. The tri-tip and beef ribs were good too, though the pork ribs definitely stole the show. The sides were solid, with the macaroni and potato salads adding a nice cool contrast to the BBQ flavors, while the beans were just okay.
