Before I had to go to work, my wife and I had to run a few errands. It was close to lunch time, so we decided to eat out. This restaurant has been open only a short time, so we decided to try it. We arrived just barely before the lunch rush. Within minutes, there were people lined up out the door and cars lined up for the drive thru. That was already a strong testament to the quality of the food.

The location is at the old Dominos building, which still looks similar from the outside. When we walked in, however, it was a different story. Inside, you are greeted with bright, lively colors and traditional Mexican decor. As far as cleanliness, the place was pristine.

We were greeted by a man (the owner?) who welcomed us as if we were friends from long ago. The menu is relatively small and simple. You choose the type of dish you wish, then choose the type of fillings, add any extras, side dishes, desserts, and your drink. The pricing was set about right for authentic Mexican food. I ordered a Barbacoa Burrito and my wife ordered a Carne Asada Salad and a fruit cup.

The wait was a bit long, but not bad or unexpected, only because they were SLAMMED with customers by the time we ordered. Different servers would come out to our table to tell us it won't be long. That was nice. The food arrived about 5-7 minutes after from the time I ordered, is not too bad.

My burrito was large and very tasty. My wife's salad was a good size and appeared very fresh. The fruit cup had a spicy seasoning on it, which is something I've never tried before. Everything tasted fantastic and authentic. I was barely able to eat all of my burrito and my wife ate about 1/3 if hers. Clean up was easy. They have a bin that you throw away the paper and place the dishes and trays on top.

The overall experience was very positive. We will be...

Update 11/15/23: Taco Fiesta Hinojosa May be a victim of their own success. Stopped in for lunch around 1 PM. There was quite a long line at the drive-through. Inside, there was also people waiting for their pick up order and people at tables waiting for food. I waited for 10 minutes without anybody taking my order or acknowledging the fact that I was there. While I was waiting, somebody else came in, waited, and left. After 10 minutes, I left as well.

I have eaten here several times since my initial review. The food never fails to be delicious. Maybe I caught them on a bad day where they, like most restaurants, were shorthanded. It was just disappointing to wait that long and not be at least told that they would be with me soon.

Initial Review: I stopped in for lunch on a whim. Nice and clean and bright inside. I tried a couple of the corn tortilla tacos and some refried beans.

I got them authentic style, which normally comes with onions, cilantro, lime, and salsa. I told them that I didn’t want onions. We started chatting a little and I mentioned that I only like sautéed onions. They told me how in Mexico you can get sautéed onions with lime and salt and I told him it sounded delicious. I got my food and started eating. Within a couple of minutes, they brought out a bowl of sautéed onions with lime and salt! Although not on the menu, they wanted to make sure I enjoyed my meal so they made me some!

That is amazing Service!

The food had generous portions, was delicious, and it was surpassed only by how nice everyone was!

I will definitely be a repeat customer and I will be telling my friends about this place!

Well done,...

I was in the area passing through and wanted to try something new and I was looking for a quick and easy lunch, so I decided to try the drive-through taco place on the corner. I ordered two steak tacos and two chicken tacos.

When I got my food, I was surprised at how expensive it was. The two steak tacos cost $10, and the two chicken tacos cost $8. That's a total of $18 for four tacos!

The tacos themselves were also disappointing. The steak was tough and dry, and the chicken was bland and flavorless. The tortillas were also stale and small.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at this taco place. The food was overpriced and subpar. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The food just didn’t justify the price and the salsa wasn’t even worth the trip either.

I would give this taco place one star out of five. It's not worth the money or the effort. If you're looking for good tacos, I would recommend...

Tried this place for the first time today and I will never go back. I ordered a carne asada taco (flour tortilla )with lettuce, cheese, onion, tomato, sour cream and salsa verde. What I got was ground beef, lettuce, a few shreds of cheese, tomato, a little of their version of sour cream and no salsa verde. This was in their drive-thru. But the biggest surprise was a piece of bone in the taco. I don’t mean a little piece, I mean a chunk. What if I had swallowed that? Or what if a kid ate that and choked on it. The first big turn off was when I was asked at the window if I wanted to give them a tip. Tip for what? Five bucks for a taco is steep but I wanted to try this place and support local businesses. Be careful when you eat there. Lots of good reviews and if not for the huge piece of bone, I would not even bother to write a review, I just never would have went back. Plenty of other authentic Mexican places to eat at.
