My God is this place awful. Some background about me first; I have eaten at Wendy's all over the midwest (spicy chicken weakness). From suburbs to downtown locations, in the hood to the gated communities.
This may be the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Both Wendy's in Findlay are bad, but this one is by far the worst.
Some advice: Despite what the other reviews say, go through the drive thru. Yes, there's a 50/50 chance they'll get your order wrong; yes, you'll probably be waiting for ~10 minutes to get through it; these are nothing compared to what you encounter inside.
When you enter, be cautious not to fall down. This is a worry because the floor is mopped with what I can only assume to be 100% vegetable oil since it is slicker than a oil-based lubricant. After you navigate the ice capades, wait in line to place your order. Pay attention because the poor souls in front of you are a preview of what you're going to have to deal with. The newest, slowest, and generally most incompetent employee in the store will be attempting to take your order. They will get it wrong. You will try to correct them, but it won't matter. They'll assure you the screen says the wrong item, but they'll make sure you get the right one. You will not.
After you tire of fighting over what you ordered vs. what you got, you'll discover the joy of trying to eat a meal with no napkins, straws or utensils of any sort. Hope you didn't order a salad because they haven't had any forks for 3 days! Why did they sell you a salad if they don't have the core utensil needed to consume said salad? The cashier shrugs their shoulders and vanishes behind the counter, never to be seen again. So don't expect a refill either.
I could keep going but just take the main point, it's not worth it. Suck it up and go somewhere else, this business doesn't...
Read moreWell it’s been over a year since my review below. Sadly not much has changed. Drive thru line still takes forever, we’re talking 30+ minutes with 3 or 4 cars. I sat there so long last time they tried to take my order again even though the line never moved. LOL.
Original review. Worst Wendy's around. This place used to have fast/good service. I started noticing a few months ago that the service was getting slower and worse. Finally today I had enough and decided to leave a review. I know restaurants can have their good days and their bad days but this is apparently the new normal here. I'm not sure if they have a new manager, a new crop of employees or what but it is bad. Be prepared to wait in line forever (even if you are 1 of 2 vehicles in the drive thru) plus on top of that your order will most likely be wrong and your fries will likely resemble raw potatoes. Every time I go by there seems to be workers outside smoking, usually next to the drive thru, just what I want when I roll my window down. Perhaps if they were inside working the line would move faster. Don't get me wrong, the employees are friendly; sadly they just seem ill trained. If you want Wendy's, I would suggest you go to the Trenton Ave location, at least until they get this location under...
Read moreI am getting to the point where I'm just going to give up on all fast food restaurants. I worked as the manager at a Subway shop for 3 years. Loved my job because I loved my customers and cared for every person who walked in my doors..... Everytime I come to this Wendy's it's the exact opposite. I work here in Findlay and drive up from Delphos everyday. After 50 minutes of driving I see Wendy's and say "you know what sounds good". I go to the drive thru and wait for a good 4 minutes at the speaker wondering if they are even open... Why not at least say "thank you for choosing Wendy's, I will be with you shortly" is that so hard? After she said "sorry about the wait, what's your order" I place my order and she asks fast and short questions. I couldn't even understand her. Anyway I go to pay and they have no respect at all. I said how has your day been. Hands her card She says "fine" in a snobby tone hands me food hands me card shuts the window.
And then I leave the drive thru and eat my nasty over cooked food on the road and throw half of it away because it's not worth the 8$ I spent while here.
Chick-fil-A is in town and you guys are going out of business...
