The original delivery was faster than expected. The RE-delivery was slower than expected. Alright. Original delivery included loaded cheddar-bacon tots, but without the garlic parmesan sauce; ok, I can live with that. It also included a Five Cheese Dip and (Garlic) Twists that were only really "bread twists", with no garlic sauce/butter OR seasoning, at all. Alright, that's a little much. I called it in - and would have been fine with partial store credit, or something. They offered to re-deliver "the order"; that's great, possibly more than I was expecting. They estimated maybe half an hour, and it took around an hour. At this point, I'm obviously not really paying for timing, per se, but okay. A full extra pizza would have been a bit much (since there wasn't anything wrong with the original), and I really wasn't expecting that; so, finally, they met some expectations. Got two small boxes with replacement tots, properly sauced (already a bit overvalued, at baseline), and JUST the garlic twists. The current price is $8.99 for the sauce and the twists. Twists are like $6.99 on their own, so with the combo, of sorts, the cheese dip should effectively cost like $2.00. They didn't think the $2.00 dip, for which the combo item is named, needed to be re-delivered, when it's half-solid at baseline. Yes, I got some free, basic bread twists out of their mistake, but the cheese dip has now congealed and the original pizza has now cooled to maybe room temperature. The issues were with APPETIZERS. So now I have to re-heat my pizza and half of my appetizers because of their mistake. Eh. Not a crime, but I'm still unhappy. The guy who answered the phone seemed new(er), but very polite and pleasant, and he took the time to check with his GM, before offering a solution. I generally don't eat anything for most of the day on Fridays to save calories and build up for a nice weekend binge. I had a slice of pizza when it was first delivered, before checking all the sides, which hurt the binge, a bit, making the now-delayed binge far less satisfying, an hour later. 3 stars is not a BAD review, per se, but I know it's a review that most franchise owners are unhappy with. I'll note that my previous order was just fine, so while I'm thoroughly unhappy with this order in particular, the jury is still out on this particular location. I've worked food service before, and I understand that people make mistakes. I've always half-expected/hoped-for these replacement orders to want to see the original order to confirm, but they never do. Pizza Hut, by comparison, seems to also replace the entire original PIZZA, sight unseen, in my experience. Far above my personal expectations, but I think at some point it speaks to the corporate (or perhaps the individual franchisee) mindset,...
Read moreAfter not having time for a meal all day, I decided to treat my son and myself to pizza. The receipt said 17-27 minutes to deliver. Sweet. The website had a cute tracker so you could watch your pizza's progress. Super sweet when you're starving and the delivery estimate is less than a half hour. I decide to pass on a snack because the pizza moves from prep to baking stage quickly. Plus nothing sounds as good as pizza and boneless buffalo wings. At the 25 minute mark, our dating pizza emerges from the oven and goes into boxing/quality check stage. Things couldn't be better. Then time starts passing. A lot of time. The tracker stays frozen. Ok, I guess the tracker could've stopped working or they have to wait to gather up a few deliveries. For an hour the status doesn't change. I try phoning the location. No answer and I let it ring for minutes. Pause. Repeat. Getting light headed. Getting hangry. Reload the tracker yet again. IT CHANGES TO DELIVERY. We are at the hour and a half mark since ordering. The GPS starts functioning. This store location is 3.1 miles from my house.Delivery is estimated to take 44 minutes. The time fluctuates back and forth and the car icon dances all over the map. Finally, two hours and 15 minutes later, with no communication, pizza arrives. Cold. No buffalo or bleu cheese for the wings. I'm forgiving and know the pandemic has caused staffing strain. At many points could they have done something that would make this merely a little disappointing instead of horrible. Not given a ridiculous time estimate. Phoned or texted or emailed to say there's a delay. Answered their phone. Taken one less hour. Brought food warm with sauces.Just don't say its going to take 15 minutes or call if things change. Literally an automated email would suffice. My expectations of any mass market chain are so low nothing going very wrong or being able to reach and speak with a person who wants to and can help are now the top echelon of service. Now I remember why I try...
Read moreMy order was never delivered, and if I wanted a refund I had to contact corporate.* Order number: #169276 Date: 04/27/24 11:29pm It was a Saturday night when I decided to order some food from this Dominos location, very very big mistake. I never received my order, not even a phone call or a text massage so I stopped by the store the next day and the first young lady who helped me did not apologized after I told her what happened, just said ''give a few minutes'' after a few minutes she calls another co-worker who then apologizes but states she's not able to give a refund, only her manager would be able to do so, so I leave my order info, phone number and such and after a few hours someone calls me but I wasn't able to pick up the phone call so they leave an empty voicemail, so once I call the store back and getting through the automated system then someone named ''Ally '' picks up the phone, I again tell her what happened, does not apologize either, places me on hold and after a few minutes I'm told that they cannot give me a refund, and the only way for me to get it was to call corporate, wow what a great customer service experience!! **So I would advice you to please not order anything from this location or even Domino's unless you're willing to go hungry, pay for an order that you might never receive and, being told by the team members that basically is your problem not ours, so deal with it'' Never...
