My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maple Street Biscuit Company, and I simply must share my outstanding experience with everyone. Not only was the food exceptional, but the outstanding customer service provided by Elijah elevated our meal to an unforgettable level. From the moment we stepped in, Elijah's genuine smile and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, checking in with us frequently to see if we needed anything, providing thoughtful menu recommendations, and engaging in genuine conversation that showed he truly cared about our experience. Speaking of the menu, Maple Street Biscuit Company's offerings were simply delicious. We indulged in their signature biscuits, which were fluffy, buttery, and packed with flavor. The Mrs. and I tried this place on a recommendation, and wow, the food didn’t disappoint. We tried a few dishes, a chicken, bacon, sausage gravy biscuit, side of hashbrowns, waffle, and a couple of their cinnamon pecan biscuits. With a coffee, we ended up spending just over $30. We felt it was a bit pricey, but were quick to dismiss that feeling as we understand quality ingredients cost more. The young lady at the counter was very welcoming and helpful. Even after getting our order wrong, she was happy to make it right, and check to make sure we were fine. Also, there’s a community dining atmosphere and plenty of light. -Just felt like a nice place to be. There are just two things holding me up from a full five stars. First, there was what appeared to be a shift manager and a couple of employees hanging out (perhaps discussing the morning’s business) in the tables to the rear. None of them checked on us, and the coffee was empty (a few feet from where they were meeting). Second, we were really disappointed to have to bus our own dishes. I know that’s minor, but everything we ordered was plated separately. So, we had multiple plates and ended up having to make a couple of trips to the waste basket, scrape our plates into the trash can (trying to avoid getting it on us -and failing) and carefully place our dishes in the dish bin provided, along with the stack of used dishes already in there. After such a good meal, this was very unappetizing and off-putting. After paying what I paid, combined with the atmosphere, I guess I just expected table clearing service. 10/10 top breakfast spot in the area. Friends from out of town came to visit last weekend and my wife picked this place. It was my first time here as well but she'd been here before. Love the way they call your order out. Question of the month changes and for the month of June the question was "if you could star in any movie or TV show, what would it be?" I went with my favorite show King of Queens. So when your order is ready, they call out whatever you said. Absolutely love the idea. I ordered the eggstreme biscuits and gravy with spicy sausage gravy. My wife ordered the specialty tacos and an order of the smash browns. I ordered 2 iced biscuits for us and our friends to try. Whatever they ordered had chicken and they said that was probably some of the best chicken they'd had. It really was delicious. The biscuits and gravy was fantastic and super filling. The wife loved her tacos but we had different opinions on the smashbrowns. To me they were a bit dry and I just wasnt a fan but she liked them. Now it's got to be a crime for those iced cinnamon biscuits to taste THAT GOOD. Wow. Everything was just delicious and we left so full.
