Taco Brothers Flatwoods KY is a new business but feels like it’s been part of the community for awhile and it is locally owned. The business model is similar to a mix of Chipotle and Taco Bell with the food quality of a local Mexican restaurant. You build your own burrito, burrito bowl, or tacos at the register instead of going through line at a picking items off a food bar. The chefs are set up at a grill similar to Waffle House and they are well orchestrated assembly similar to like Taco Bell with the final product being similar to a top dine in restaurant quality. I ordered a burrito to go and got it in less than 5 minutes after ordering, I received my food. It’s fast food but better quality than a fast food restaurant like Taco Bell. Meals come with Chips and Salsa like a dine in Mexican restaurant. The ambience of the lobby is modern but nostalgic and you could picture yourself somewhere tropical when dining in. The price seems high but for the quality and potion size of the food it prices fair. I got a huge steak burrito with Mexican street corn accompanied by complementary chips and salsa and it was cheaper than Taco Bell. I’d recommend a steak burrito, the Mexican street corn, and the...
Read moreWhat to say! The workers are amazing and very chirpy and happy, you dont see this at most restraunts in this area, which is a plus for us. When I sit down to eat, i like to know im welcomed there and people are nice and want to wait on me! I received all of this before I was sitting down to eat, it made my evening wonderful. It was an amazing atmosphere and the food was amazing, reasonably-priced too. I will definitely be back for taco brothers. Thanks guys for the great food, great atmosphere and making us feel welcomed when we first came in and all through our time there. The welcome to taco brothers was also a nice touch along with the bye and thanks for coming that we received . Keep up the great work and don't loose that chirpness and happy go lucky attitude you all had, so many restraunts around this area have lost this and forget that in order for people to enjoy there food and time spent at a restraunt they need to feel welcomed and like they want them there. You guys did awesome and delivered great food, great atmosphere and the...

From the moment you pull in, the experience feels inviting—the parking lot is well-kept, the building design stands out, and the bright mural out front makes the perfect photo op. Inside, the energy is just as welcoming, with a team of attentive staff who work together seamlessly. Drinks stay full, and food arrives quickly without sacrificing quality.
Start your meal with their creamy queso or flavorful street corn before moving on to the main event. Some of my go-tos are the birria burrito loaded with cheesy, savory goodness, the California burrito that’s hearty enough for two meals, and the Baja shrimp taco with just the right amount of zest. Portions are generous, so plan for leftovers.
To finish, treat yourself to dessert made fresh at their sister restaurant, Fratelli’s in Barboursville—rich, moist, and decadent, the perfect sweet ending.
