CreativeCafe — Restaurant in Flint Charter Township

First time flying to Michigan, I didn’t know what to expect. I did my research and knew it was going to be cold so I prepped for the weather. Landed in Detroit with only 2hrs of sleep and still needed to drive up to Losco County for some site visits. Searched up “coffee” on the search bar and “CreativeCafe” appeared. I knew off the bat I wanted to check it out because it seemed local and not a mega chain like Starbucks or Dunkin. I arrived not realizing it was Flint MI until I turned off on the exit. I said to myself “oh I’ve heard of this place because of that documentary gulps”. Drove into the parking lot almost driving past it because GPS told me it was further down at the corner of the lot lol. Went in and liked the atmosphere of the shop very big and open with lots of beautiful art. Ordered an iced americano because I’m basic like that. Once and awhile I’d go for an iced mocha but nah today I felt like ordering an americano so my mind was set. Got to chatting with the owner and learned about her story and how she came to starting “Creative Cafe”. I must say she’s a hard worker and probs to her for finding something that she enjoys and is passionate about. I have nothing but love and respect for anyone that can do something they love to do and I wish her nothing but the best with her journey. Was a pleasure meeting her and I hope her business continues to thrive and grow! Keep up the amazing work and if she reads this apologise for not going back ran behind schedule and needed to catch the flight. Keep up the amazing work! Definitely would comeback someday to check out how it’s done!

Crystal has worked her butt off and has created an excellent place for artists and purveyors of good coffee and baked goods alike to visit. You cannot beat her prices, you will see that upon your first visit!

She is always improving her menu and her skills behind the counter, whether that is experimenting with new flavors or drink combinations or just adding new visuals to increase the ambience in the building. Get out here and connect with Creative Café and get some awesome...

Another great experience at Creative Cafe! My toddler and I love coming here because it has something for everyone! My son loves their freshly baked vanilla cake pops and I can’t get enough of their lattes. They have a great selection of homemade syrups like the white chocolate one I tried today. I like to browse their free library while he plays with the games they have set out for kids. Today we even visited their free art supply closet where my son got to pick out...
