I ordered my pizza through the phone app using the option to pay when picking up since I was paying in cash.
When I arrived they gave me a hard time getting my food saying if I paid with a credit card it would be in box on the counter and I could get it, but now if have to wait until we're available.
My food was done, in the box, sitting on the warmer. One woman was standing next to the oven waiting for a pizza to come out "at some point in the future", and she wouldn't ring me up.
Another guy, barely out of high school who acted like he may have been the manager said he would be right over, but then grabbed another order slip and started making another pizza. When he was done with that he started another, at which point I asked, can't you stop for one minute so I can have my pizza? He exhaled very heavily and walked over to me and said, JUST SO YOU KNOW FOR THE FUTURE, I'M USUALLY BUSY HERE, with all the smugness he could muster. I simply replied, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to inconvenience you, I thought you were in the business of selling pizza, which means taking money so customers who have been standing here can get their pizza and go home. Yes, I was sarcastic, but they were intentionally making me wait repeating, if you paid through the app you wouldn't be waiting.
That's okay, there are no less than five other places within a few miles of me I can go and get food. They won't have to worry about me coming in again.
I don't know if people aren't trained properly, or if the managers don't care, but there is no semblance of customer service left most places you go. These individuals act like showing up for work is enough, don't expect them to actually do any work, and don't you dare expect them to be courteous to customers. Read moreI ordered 3 pizzas went in to pick them up only to discover that one was incorrect. I took the pizza back inside, stood at the counter for at least 3 minutes while being ignored. The manager was standing there playing with empty boxes that fell on the floor and he picked them up putting them back on the shelf in a pile. He finally turned around took a deep breath and asked if he could help me. I told him that my order was wrong on one of the pizza's (I ordered black olives, onions, and green bell peppers) he said the tickets says that's what you ordered so that's your order. I said no Sir, I didn't order this he says: "Well I don't know what to tell you, that's what the ticket says." I asked to speak to a manager he looks at me with a smirk and says I am the manager.. I asked for his District Manager or Corporate number and his response was get it from off the internet on Dominos website. I've been going to this Dominos for YEARS and I have NEVER been so DISAPPOINTED or DISRESPECTED... I told him he was VERY RUDE!! Finally one of the 3 crew members comes from behind the other side of the boxes and says "It was his fault, he remembers taking my order and accidentally pushed tge wrong button... You'd think I would have gotten an apology! The manager just looked... When I asked him for his name he sarcastically said Johnny Taylor!! He didn't offer to give me my money back nor to make the correct pizza until I was walking out the door... He had me so FURIOUS that I may not be returning to Dominos Pizza... I love the pizza however, the people that you hire seriously need to be people friendly and know how to handle...
Read moreWas not able to redeem gift certificates that I purchased for this restaurants just as the other locations that somehow are supposedly connected. After trying to make a purchase at other locations without success and negative response the manager that answered was kind and apologetic even though it was not her fault. But she was unaware of the certificate herself! How is this possible?! She tried to contact someone to help her who was not available she told me that I could try back within a couple of hours someone would be there that possibly could assist! Just ridiculous! I cannot believe this and I see why they are trying to still these certificates to get business and because of this poor customer service I see why. I'm not sure if she would have been able to even get any further but I had already been trying to get food for my family with these certificates that I purchased.... For almost 2 hours I didn't want to wait two more hours especially if I was going to get bad news.
