QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Flint Charter Township

I was here 12/26/21 at 1:30pm and the young women that took our order was extremely friendly, positive attitude, and smiled the whole time I wish I remembered her name for she could get better recognition and the food was great! But why the 4 stars is because while we where ordering the women helping us out asked another women if she could go get more tomatoes from the back and instead the other women just yelled back to the people in the back to get it and then she kept messing around on her phone the same women rang us up and was very rude and was still on her phone! Get off you f@#$$#@ phone while you are at work and actually do something. Then while we were eating our food the hard working young women was cleaning off all the tables and chairs and there was a male employee that was eating lunch, when he was done he left a mess and didn't clean it up! the young women still went over there and cleaned up after him! I hope management opens there eyes at this place and starts cracking down on the lazy people and hope they are treating the hard working employees well maybe even giving them a raise or a bonus, like the hard working women that took...

I love qdoba! It’s my favorite. But this store only gets 4 stars because the workers can sometimes be extremely rude and the food isn’t always fresh.

This was my previous review. I am now updating it because unfortunately this place has gone down hill, fast. I tried to order online but was told the location was closed. So we went up there, it was around 815pm. Glad we got there because hours online said they were open until 10 but sign on door said 9. The line was almost going out the door. No apology for the wait, out of quit a bit of items, the staff was moving soo slow I was amazed.. no wonder it took us 35 minutes to get out of there. Also the guy that put on my topping was just slopping them all on there. Put so much cilantro on top (I thought I could pick it off but it melted in the cheese by the time I got home) that i couldn’t eat it because it was just too much. Highly disappointed. My boyfriend and I try to eat healthy so we love the bowls but looks like we won’t be coming back here. What has happened to this place? Their food handling practices are horrendous. I'd never seen the food bins and food assembly area look like that before. There was food all over the counter and floor. Looked like a tornado had come through. The employees have absolutely no conception of how to clean up the area safely and properly. I watched a female employee grab a bucket full of supposed sanitizer and soap that looked well used ( Grey water color) She then proceeded to start wiping around the food bins trying to wipe the spilled food particles to the floor. I saw food falling back into the bins and nasty sanitizer dripping into the bins as well. It was gross. If I hadn't even so starving I would have walked out. The manager was standing right there totally oblivious .I checked the Genesee health department website and it shows they have routine checks at that location. The last one was on March 28th.
