THERE'S BEEN A RATING UPDATE Actually this store had not too long of a wait, the pizza is really good (depends on your taste I guess), if you compare it to Little Caesars or Domino's. they do deliver right now and of course pick up but deliveries encouraged because of the pandemic currently. Everybody's polite in courteous and I enjoyed my experience at the Hungry Howie's Pizza on Corunna Rd and Ballenger Highway.NOTE: THERE'S BEEN A CHANGE IN RATING... I originally only gave four stars initially just on accounts of the location of the pizza place and I'd like to say that I'll be the first one to admit when I was wrong. It should have been five stars from the beginning I mean come on guys, might be out take a look at this owner and how much energy he spends on just playing good old-fashioned customer service! I had originally given this store 4-Stars. When I notice this gentleman will basically bend over backwards to earn your business You don't really see that these days especially in the fast food business anymore. I would like to recant my original 4-star rating and raise it up to 5 STARS!! perhaps I was being a little too critical of this LONG TIME Flint Business. I mean overall I've had a lot worse experiences at other pizza places and yes I'm a very critical critic however I like to see the passion in the customer service and the customer service starts with Ownership. I can tell by the reviews that this owner Howard has strong convictions about the Customer Service of his store! what's everybody here at for the Hungry Howie's team! It does take a team, I used to work in fast food when I was a teenager, and I did actually work at Hungry Howie's as a delivery driver when I was 17. It seems like such a lifetime ago but they've definitely stuck around long enough to earn a 5-star rating and a failing business wouldn't be able to stay profitable if the people didn't keep coming back and this door's been there since that plaza pretty much and leave me all you youngins out there, at Hungry Howie's isn't a kid, hey friend my respect throughout the years and I was wrong, therefore I believe in the store a well-deserved 5-star rating! Read moreI order from this hungry howies all the time, I spend a lot of money here and more often than not my order is incorrect. I understand mistakes are made I make mistakes at my own job but lately even if it’s something as small as a missing sauce it’s frustrating because it’s ALL THE TIME here. Today I ordered the same order the same way I always order it. A pizza with two toppings And lite sauce (only had one topping on it and the opposite of lite sauce.) An Italian sub with no lettuce no tomato and 3 items I asked be on the side. When I called to speak to a manager because again this was delivered not how I ordered it the manager told me she did not see that I asked for my veggies on the side until my sub was already in the oven and they then decided to just send it to me that way anyway. It’s one thing to just miss something and the order be incorrect but when she admitted to me she realized it was wrong and made a choice to send the order out that way anyway I was shocked. When I questioned her on why she thought that was acceptable she got very rude with me and then changed her story saying she didn’t understand what I was asking when I asked for my veggies on the side. Again I understand mistakes are made and most of the time I let small things forgotten go but the costumer service I received today trying to prevent my future orders from being delivered incorrectly inappropriate and unnecessary. Read moreI'm here working out of town from fort Wayne Indiana. I order from hungry Howie's regularly at home and I have never had such a bad experience. I ordered 10pc Asian wings, steak sub, brownies, and a 2 liter of mtn dew. Delivery arrives about 35 min later. I sit down to eat and first box I open was the wing box, there plain. Next box sub, everything looks good there. Last box the brownie box, it's a cookie. So I call to get my order replaced and get put on hold immediately upon answering the phone, wait 5 min same guy asks me pickup or delivery, not how can I help you. I explained my orders issues and he says hold on. I wait another 7 min and a lady says how can I help you. I say I already explained my issue to another employee but I'll explain again. She tells me since the customer is always right I can bring my wings in and give them to the store and they will give me new ones even though she watched my wings get sauced. I said ma'am I'm from out of state working here with no car and staying at a hotel, that's why I ordered delivery. She says ok we will make you new ones and swap them out in about 45min Even though I know your wings were sauced.
