I called ahead because we hadhave food allergies. The gentleman was super helpful and was able to answer my questions. We decided to try it & I'm so glad we did. I got the tawook bowl on lettuce instead of rice with cucumbers, tomatoes and olives with the tahini and chipotle dressing. The dressing was a little sweeter than I like. Next time, I'll get it on the side. Delicious & filling. My husband got the tawook bowl with the same thing except he got the tabouli dressing. It was fresh and full of veggies (we don't eat grains). Plus we know that this is a safe place to eat as they cook their chicken separate from their beef. It wasn't super busy, but they did have a steady flow. So a new place for us to enjoy tasty food.

This place has the best garlic sauce hands down. The other places can't compete. They can put three taboons in front of Kabob and I'll still walk past them to get to Kabob. Their rice is cooked to perfection , hummus is superb and shawarma is tender and fresh. The owner is usually here and waits on you himself. This is the type of business I like to support. You won't be disappointed!

Best kitchen just not only Flint, even Michigan. Everything extremely fresh and delicious, operating under sweet, charming family son and dad. Will be come again back as soon as I’ll shows up Michigan. Highly recommended!!!!

The good: lentil soup, steak cooked perfectly.

The bad: Disappointing. Had the beef kabob (they don't offer lamb, despite it being available as Kibbe on the appetizer menu) and for $1 added grilled mixed veggies instead of rice.

I got a sum total of 4 pieces of meat about an inch long, 3 pieces of small peppers, a couple slices yellow squash, two pieces of wilted lettuce, and a 1/8" slide of red pepper. Seriously, it's like they charged me for the grilled veggies and forgot? Meanwhile, the diners could do a nice buffet, all-you-can-eat, for $10. Wasted my time with carry-out. Don't do it.

To be fair, the beef (steak actually which was odd) was cooked perfectly. But for pete's sake, fill up the to-go container with a few cups of grilled veggies. They are super cheap and you should be only paying pennies per pound for them! And add actual lamb to the shish kabob. I get if you need to add a $1 for that as lamb is expensive and needs to be fresh (halal), but please offer it....

Today was the first time my wife and I came to this restaurant. We ordered the chicken burger and deboned chicken plate with fatoush salad and rice. The waitress praised every single item while she hovered over us so we choose something quickly. The chicken was the same in both dishes, extremely over done and completely tasteless. The chicken in the burger was actually inedible since most of it was hard tendons that I guess you could chew if you had a powerful metal jaw. The burger bun seemed old and flat. The fries that came with the burger were old and stale and again, tasteless. The hospital cafeteria makes 5x better fries. The rice was decent, the garlic sauce and fresh bread were dense but edible. The decor is nice, its not crowded, and owner seems pleasant. The only good thing that came from this eat-in was appreciation was true arabic food thats scattered throughout the Dearborn area that Ive taken for...

Typically the food here is good, but the service is not. It isn't a one time occurrence, but often. Once we had food spilled on several members of our party and there wasn't any sort of apology. If you get refills on your drinks it is a good day. Today they brought 1 soup out and we had to ask for our 2nd soup and salad... really? Who brings only one soup out? We had to ask for our basket of pita bread and dip. In the end when asked about our service one person in our 3 person party answered that the food was very good, but the service was a bit slow we were actually berated! The hostess said that we should call ahead, odd, we are a party of 3 in a restaurant that is less than half full. During our visit 2 parties of 2 walked out. I really like the food, but I can't take that long when having lunch, and none of us had a difficult dish to serve. My hummus and tabbouleh sandwich was yummy, but not...
