EDIT: We have since gone back to give this place a second chance & we're glad we did. Apparently one of the managers was gone for a month & just got back in March. When she returned she was told to read the Google reviews (& she did) and she's been making CHANGES and you can see the difference in the food, service and order accuracy.
I'll leave the original review below, for posterity- but know that it has since changed. I'll update again if anything changes. 🍽️
We ordered a ft long coney island dog, an All American dog, some popcorn chicken & mozzarella sticks. When the order came out we received a ft long coney island dog, some popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks & a hamburger.
I told Cody we didn't order a burger, but we were missing an the All American dog (the cheapest hot dog they make). Sweet Cody went all the way back in, in this summer heat & brought us back out a chili dog. face palm.
I apologized & told him my s.o. can't eat chili due to G.I. issues, that's why he ordered the "ALL AMERICAN DOG." So Cody took the dog back in for a second attempt & came back out this time with a FOOT LONG CONEY ISLAND CHILI DOG. face palm
This time I literally pointed to the dog we were missing on the menu & Cody said "my manager wants you guys to pull around to the window." Feeling bad for Cody, huffing & puffing back & forth on the heat, we did.
The manager opens the window & says "what do you want?" Short & curt. I responded "we're just missing a plain old all American dog, that's it. & Offer her the (extra) foot long coney dog that we didn't order or need & she snatched it out of my hand and slammed the window shut.
After about 15 minutes she came back, tossed the dog through my window & shut the windows again. I was so surprised I literally sat there for a few seconds just staring at my s.o. & He guffawed "seriously?" I had to wait 5 more minutes for her to come back to ask for my receipt.
By this point all of the food, but the all American dog was cold.
I can say the runners work their tails off, but management could use either a better speaker system, a CSR refresher course or a different job... Not sure which applies - but something's gotta give.
You shouldn't be taking it out on your paying customers. It's a small town, keep it up & you won't have many of them left. 🤷🏻♀️
The two stars are for Cody. The real MVP, who was busting sweat back and forth- trying to fix the manager's mess up, while she sat in the air conditioned building. 🥂 Maybe corporate should make him management....
Read moreI wish I could give them a zero! I was in the Florence area and decided to stop at the Sonic at 495 N Pinal Pkwy for a late dinner. Placed our order at 7:13pm in the drive thru, waited for what felt like forever for the food. Once we got it, we pulled into a stall to eat, then noticed we are missing our #3 combo. No one would respond to the speaker, so we flagged down an employee who said to come to the pick up window. Got there waited for what felt like another 20mins, finally Manager on duty comes to the window and says "what do you want? You can see our kitchen is backed up." I said I wanted a refund at this point all the food is cold. She asked for the food back to check it and took the food back through the window, then walked off... Almost 10mins later the original employee comes to give us $8 of our $32 total. I said no, I want a full refund, she took our cold food back into the building and idk what she may have done to it having the attitude she does. He walked away and no one ever returned for another 10 mins, so I got out of my car to confront the employee using the door to keep serving customers behind us, I asked if I needed to call the cops at this point cause we have no food and no refund, just sitting at a window being ignored. The manager comes back to the window and says her GM said we we're not getting a refund and to call corporate and file a complaint, which I have. However this is just ridiculous! I had to go to the door to demand my receipt back to have for my contact to corporate, at this time she copped an even bigger attitude and started cussing and calling names, then the whole crew wants to act like their all thugs and come at me saying "what up cuh!? What up cuh!?" Are you for real? This is how customer service is now? 16 yr olds acting a fool and getting away with it? We left at 8:08pm with no food and no refund, just a complaint issued to corporate, and probably never...

Said our order was coming out to us. Still waiting. Asked to speak to a manger finally who said the ice cream machine was down. Said others got milkshakes. She said every order is different. So I said mine and she said it’s ready. I said it’s been a while and we’ve been waiting. She said they’re very busy and I need to be patient I said I placed an order on the app. She said they’re busy and my order basically isn’t priority which I understand as every customer is a priority. Manager was rude and condescending. Needs a lesson in customer service. Still waiting for it. Parking lot is near empty as is the drive thru. Our order was small as is. One milkshake. One sonic blast. One slushie. —— First review : try to be understanding of places that are short staffed or extremely busy but service that is rude and unprofessional even when I am respectful and polite is uncalled for. We have had numerous issues with this location but tonight was the best. We ordered milkshakes and parked in a stall and waited. When it came out we noticed one was missing. As I went to check the order she crumpled up our receipt and walked away without waiting for me to see what we were missing. We ended up in the drive thru and the missing one wasn’t even made.
