Burger King — Restaurant in Florence

I almost neber give 5 stars, but these guys deserved it tonight. I went in at about 9pm. Only 3 people was working, only 2 that I saw. These young men had the place spotless. The dining area and the back kitchen area was also very clean. I didnt go into the restrooms so I cant speak on that. They were nice. They came up/greeted me right away. They made fresh onion rings for me as the other I guess had gotten old. I dont think they pay these young men enough. They said no one wants to work so theyre always understaffed. They didnt complain at all tho. I couldn't compliment them enough. All I see is complaints about BKs everywhere. Hek, I've gotten food posioning from both the ones in Athens multiple times so I stopped going. I dont have that problem at this location tho. I've been here before and the drive through can be slow.... but I dont blame them when you only have 2 or 3 people doing EVERYTHING. These guys tonight highly impressed me. Both with how clean everything was and with how kind they were. But also because they didnt complain at all. It was walking into the twilight zone but a nice one. The experiences I have in here vary from visit to visit! Sometimes they are fast and sometimes one of the employees forgets to stock up on items making the managers upset, cause they want to be so fast. There are a few workers that are cool and 1 that is just "her" but I realize sometimes its more than the food its the service, the environment, and the quality overall. So its a cool place to visit especially if no one knows you. They know about me...but they don't know me lol so they treat me a little different which is understandable for other reasons. But not a very cool place for a vegetarian or vegan cause there is not a lot of options honestly. I wanted a sandwich like the whopper without the meat but I got charged as if I ordered the meat...which was insane...they lower the price anywhere else I have gone if they can't substitute the meat for instance...Checkers, Wendy's, OTR...Many places have actually seen the need so they may take $2 off but I would have thought BK would Have it my way including the pay. But I might as well put the meat on the side in a box simply cause they are gonna charge me the same price without it. So honestly they should fix this. I rate a little higher if...

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The woman at the window was very rude. We went through the drive thru and she asked to take our order we asked to be given a minute, the lady then came back on and asked again “CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER?!” After we had literally just asked for a minute then proceeded to tell us they can’t do that, that their on a timer like how is that our fault?!? so we just said we’d do it online we didn’t get our sauces so we went back through and tried to say we didn’t get any with what we got but I had chicken nuggets and my bf ordered jalapeño poppers so we knew we were supposed to receive them and she finally said “just give them 1”. We drove off and noticed we didn’t get another item we ordered! So we had to go back through the line and drive thru and she said we didn’t get the item we ordered and it wasn’t on their end we showed them the receipt where it literally said the item and where we had paid for it they would not honor the receipt we showed and would not give us our money back for it and argued with us the whole time TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, but luckily corporate refunded our money and...
