1845 Tap House — Restaurant in Florida

Pouring rain and they wont even let someone sit at an outdoor table for a minute. Like dude I'm gonna get sick. Gotta sit on the ground. Its not even busy.

Update: I'm re-upping this review to say something to the owner. Yeah, you're well within your rights to tell someone to leave if they are eating next door's pizza (for less than a minute.... When your tables outside under the awning are empty.) but you can be "right" while still being ridiculous. And to be snippy in reponse to a negative review, something that a cursory glance at your reviews indicates you do regularly, well that just reflects even more poorly on you. The 1-star still stands. I might have cooled my head and deleted it later but if you're going to throw your arms up and go "NUH UH!!!" to any criticism, I don't see why I should treat you with any civility.

Y'all told a polite dude minding his own business to go sit elsewhere (there is nowhere) when its pouring rain. You could've looked the other way for 2-3 minutes and there's be no incident. Instead you're dropping from 4.5 to 4.4 and got a guy telling everyone that'll listen to never spend money at your place.

That's on you. Feel free to call your critics "childish", it seems to be something you practice with some regularity. Wonder why.

I was with my son trying to have a drink and talk and right next to us it was a group of friends talking to each other and add us to their conversation one of the individual left the table to go to the bar and order some drinks for his friend we stay talking. Next thing we saw it was the bartender pushing and talking to one of The guys in the group that had just left to get some drinks….. John (the bartender) scream at him, grab his tab and drow it at him. The poor Guy did not know what else to say and he keep telling JOHN to relax but he was not listening. I was embarrassed for the young man. I did not know what to say.. We all look at each other in odd. We ask what happen to find out it was over a tap misunderstanding. What lack of training and customer services. I will NEVER EVER go back to that place. JOHN deserv to be fire… at my 62 years old have never seeing someone push and treat someone like that in my Life.. if you are the manager of that store please look at the cameras and fire John he have no bussiness working with people....

The bartender is very rude and provides extremely unprofessional service. He stated he is a “manager”. This happened at 2350 on 01/02/2023. He said his name was John, unsure if this is true. The bartender was very short with my two friends and stated my friends were old. You don’t say that to a customer. When I said “you don’t have to be rude” he said “great you guys don’t have to stay”, “you won’t tell me I’m rude”. He proceeded to call my friends old again in an insulting way. That is absolutely no way to treat someone. He should not be a manager anywhere. I would like the owner to reach out to have a real conversation about this gentleman.
