This pizza place is only about 6 miles from our home and after checking out the review ratings (4.6) we decided to give it a try.
We placed an online order for a large supreme with no mushrooms. The order when picked up was correct and the service was good . The pizza itself was not even average to us. It was rather bland and we were not fans of the type of sausage they use (it was little slices that were thicker than pepperoni but smaller around) We've never had that style of sausage on a pizza and didn't care for the taste of it.
We are native Floridians not New Yorkers, so maybe that's why the pizza was below average for us.
We will stick to ordering from another small pizza place located in another plaza about the same distance...

2/2/22. I went in for Lunch and purchased 2 SLICES of pizza. No drink. They charged me $18 when their menu says $4 a slice. $4 x 2 = $8 plus tax... Unless my children's basic core math is off. Language barrier? You'd think they'd question it at 2 SLICES for $18 when I can get a whole pizza for less at the same place? So can only assume it was on purpose.
I will not be returning to be purposely overcharged especially for sub par pizza slices. They just threw some toppings on a cheese pizza so when you picked it up to eat it, the toppings just fell right back in the box.
What to take away from this review is to WATCH what they are charging you. Seems like they charge...

I like this place every time I get a chance. I stop by, get a couple of slices, sprinkle some parm cheese, salt, oregano, and garlic powder, and then good to go. I like the crispy crust very little flop they way I like it. Owners are cool, and just like all of us have their days, but honestly, 99 percent of the time, I have a good experience coming here. The pizza is my favorite here in ocala. It's not the best I've ever had but pretty close. That's my opinion. My taste and not everyone has the same taste.
