This is a Colombian-Dominican restaurant that is five stars through and through. From the moment we stepped inside the restaurant, the service was phenomenal. They explained the menu thoughroughly upon request and accommodated any substitution as best they could. We were with our six years old and, understanding that little ones get impatient when hungry, they had the presence of mind to ask if we wanted her food to come out immediately.... most restaurants wait to bring everything together. They prepare the food immediately after it has been ordered, which ensures a freshness and quality seldom matched in other places. We had the sancocho, plátanos maduros Fritos, arroz blanco con habichuelas rojas, yucca frita, and fried Red Snapper. The food was cooked to perfection and plentiful. Aleidas Kitchen has blessed us since day one! When we moved to Florida I was afraid I wouldn’t find authentic Dominican food but we have found a true gem. Consistency, good portions & great service are part of Aleidas core. The mofongo is perfect every time. As someone who has eaten mofongo in NYC, NJ, PR & DR, I can honestly say Aleidas mofongo is the best mofongo I’ve ever had period. It’s tasteful, soft & a great portion every time. Whether we order take out or dine in, we always have a pleasant experience. The staff is great. The chef is kind. The chivo is superb!
