You know walking into this restaurant I didn’t know to much it’s a hole in the wall secluded area with little to no traffic and quiet surroundings but the second I walked in I knew it would be good food. Just walking into this restaurant you hit with a fresh homie and welcoming atmosphere and the added refreshing scent of fresh food being cooked with love and dedication. Your seated quite quickly and given more than enough time to get situated and ready. Your then given time to choose your entrée and you might have what seems to be few options to choose from but I’m here to assure you all of them are DELICIOUS. I had the pierogies and potato pancakes this round and it was amazing. The potato pancakes are sized well and served with sour cream and cinnamon applesauce. Then the pierogis are to die for. Mashed potatoes and cheese filling is what I had gotten and it was well worth it. They are sweet but salty and soft all around. Then when it was time for the main course I wasn’t ready nor prepared for the food about to enter my mouth. The first thing to come out of my dumpling was my side dish of mashed potatoes. Now for a simple dish i was not expecting it to be this good. Fresh mashed potatoes with small chunks still left over from the mashing process met with the savory delight of salty, warm, and freshness. Next to come out was the main dish the dumplings. Before the dish even came into sight I could smell the bacon. Then the second I went to cut one of the dumplings open my fork sank in. Now taking the bite all I can describe from this experience is the scene from ratatouille when the food critic takes a bite from the dish and has a childhood flash back. The instant feeling of home cooked food and a passion for flavors combining. Hot fresh and delicious. I will definitely be coming back to Anna’s with the joy of getting to eat true dedication to food and the comfort in flavors this restaurant has given me.

Read moreMy first time having Polish food. We had a party of 5 at 1:00 pm, and at first I admit I was skeptical of the place, but it really surpassed my expectations. We walked in, and there was no one there. Not a single customer. However, a lady in the back noticed us at the front and directed a man, who I think was the main person to run the store with Anna, to seat us. The decorations were very nice and it was homey on there. I love the atmosphere and family owned businesses, you can really feel the authenticity. We ordered chicken tenders, dumplings (appetizer), the dumplings with meat inside (entree) with pickles, and perogies. One thing to note is the pierogi portions are small, but everything else is a nice size. The chicken tenders were amazing, not dry at all. The perogies were delicious as well, and the dumplings were great too. The lemonades were average, a little bit watered down, but still fine to drink. The coffee torte was very strong and the cake was good as well. I never had a problem with the service, he was very attentive and the food came out rather quickly. This may be because we were the only ones there, though. Still, I recommend giving this place a try! It felt wrong being the only ones there to break...
Read moreI'm very sad about leaving a less than 5 star review because the food really was delicious. This was my first time eating here with my husband and 2 small children (2 and 4). Food was fantastic but the service, although friendly, was very very slow. We ordered our meals as well as chicken tenders for the kids. We didn't get our food until 50 minutes after arriving and at that time was told they did not have the chicken tenders for the kids (it was unclear if they were out completely or just forgotten). The waiter asked what else we would like and suggested pierogi's, then asked how many. I said 4, since my kids are small and don't eat much. He said "We can do 6." I assumed they would be brought out right away. We didn't get those until 20 minutes later after we were finished eating. I asked for them to just be boxed up since my kids were on the verge of losing their minds at this point and had already eaten some of our food. I thought we would have been comped this order of pierogi's as my children weren't even able to eat it but we weren't...... $62 later. Food was good but I doubt we will be returning due to the service...
