I felt sick after eating here. Make sure you ask if your item is already there or it will take over an hour to receive your food.
We ordered a veg biryani and waited. After 50 minutes and seeing people who came after us, order, eat, and leave, I asked for an update. At that time, I was told that there was no veg biryani and they were making it. This would have been useful to know when we ordered. No one would have waited an hour for food.
They asked for 10 more minutes and delivered a large tray of food. We asked for medium spice but I think they just use a hot sauce rather than spice. The rice was white with plain vegetables and a orange liquid drizzled throughout.
Initially what seemed flavorless was causing me to tear up once I got enough of the sauce. The yogurt they provided did very little to cut the heat.
The price was good and the amount was good. But the wait time was bad and quality was bad. Both of our stomachs felt bad for the...
Read moreTampa desperately needs AUTHENTIC PAKISTANI RESTAURANT. Most of the restaurants here are run by bangladeshis who dont know how to cook authentic Pakistani food. So this grill, which seems to have Afghan workers, holds a lot of potential. Unfortunately they havent taken the time and business initiative to hire authentic Pakistani cooks who know who to create fabulous dishes. Even though I like their Chapli Kabab, the lack of hygiene around the sink (dirty sink, no soap dispenser, trash piled up in the trash can) makes me not want to visit this restaurant. Please visit Taaza Mart so you can learn how to run a cafe efficiently and with hygiene. If you start cooking authentic Pakistani food in a hygienic environment, your restaurant will do very well in Tampa since there are no options for authentic...
Read moreThe restaurant is located inside the huge Apna bazar. The young gentleman was very fast and busy serving customers. They were missing couple of items on the menu. We had the mixed grill , biryani, lamb lentil curry with naan. The mixed grill was priced reasonably and could easily feed two but the chicken boti was super dry and felt it was reheated or over cooked to become a jerky. The chicken tandoori was a bit bland and under seasoned but the seekh kabab was the best. The biryani was the most disappointing and was under seasoned and under salted even though I always loved less salt. The lamb lentil curry and the naan were the best of all and deserves 5 star. Our family had to mix the lamb lentil with biryani to get some flavor. I hope they can improve the seasoning of...
