Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Florida

I've unfortunately made the stupid decision to give literally hundreds and hundreds dollars to this particular establishment. I believe someone else made the comment in their review that Applebee's is the closest thing to our part of town (that isn't Burger King, Taco Bell, etc) unless you feel like driving 20 min one way. Dining in is mostly an alright experience for myself and my family with the occasional trivial slip up like a forgotten drink or condiment but i tend to order car side to go on a regular basis because it happens to be the more convenient of options when i'm alone with my 2 kids, one being under the age of a year old. I literally have NEVER had 100% satisfaction from the car side to go. 100% of the time our food is cold by the time we get home which is only 2.9 miles away from the restaurant and more times than i care to think about I've made it home only to have to put my kids back in the car because the waitress gave us the wrong order entirely. I almost always order the same thing consisting of the sweet potato fries and pub pretzels and the only time I've EVER gotten the 3 dips included with my fries (which happens to be the main reason for why i get them) was the one time i called and made sure they gave me my dip. In fact once I was told that because I ordered a "small" (I didn't) the dip wasn't included. I found out later that this explanation was completely false. Last night was my breaking point. My husband and I ordered car side to go again as an at home date night "thing" and I ordered my usual and he ordered his usual. He picked up the food, came home, sat down, started handing me my food only to realize, SURPRISE, this was NOT our order. AGAIN! He drove back, got our order, came home, sat down, started unpacking, I start digging into my fries. Soggy, cold, almost burnt, but nevertheless, COLD, and what do ya know, only 1 of the 3 dips was there. So, I move on to my pub pretzels which includes a beer cheese. My cheese was LITERALLY ice cold. As in OUT OF THE FREEZER. My husbands pretzels were burnt, almost black. I'd like to say that his wings were at least salvageable but alas, those were cold too. Not ice cold but cold enough that I had to reheat them. Thanks Applebees for taking my money even after I've brought EVERY SINGLE ISSUE ABOVE TO YOU ALREADY and with no consideration at all repeating this atrocity of a dining experience. Honestly, even if you told me you'd give me free food to make up for all of this, i think i'd politely say "no", only because i'd be too worried that even THEN you'd still screw it up and i'd lose my patience completely resulting in me marching back into your establishment and making you wear everything...

Extremely disappointing visit. Have been here multiple times. Usually its decent service, only one time was great service, but tonight was appalled by the terrible experience not one staff member present out front for over two almost 10 minutes spans. Our draft beers were beyond flat. The staff was too busy in the back eating to even check on tables or patrons.... I was made aware of this, because the food that was walked around bar twice (that we ordered and finally came to us after coming into contact with other customers) was the same thing staff ordered according to Amanda M and who i assume to be the manager for night shift... Amanda M. became argumentative when asked if the food she gave to us was the same food another staff member just walked around bar with and even sat down in front of other customers before bringing to back and then to us... not to mention we ordered a drink and I noticed no ticket was printed at bar for bartender to make said drink at the 10 minute mark when I had to go to staff kitchen entrance and ask for assistance took 3 times before someone finally came we canceled drink with bartender asked for check... then Amanda approached table arguing that food was for staff they had same order we had. Which at this point didn't matter because he barley ate any as was burnt and side cold by time we got ours. I was more disappointed in how we were ignored and practically yelled at when all we wanted was our check after terrible service and food. Its not like we canceled an order or drink that was already made... no one was out front or at bar... we waited awhile before saying enough was enough, canceling drink, and getting the check to leave took way longer than should.

Unacceptable! They were talking about customers in back and could be heard from bar seating. Aug 2nd 2024 2pm Unfortunately we didn't leave happy, only 3 of us out of 4 had ate here before about 5 years ago which was great then, but after today honestly we may never visit this location again. We were greeted and seated right away by a new employee she also took our drink order but unfortunately she never returned and so a woman who was working the bartending area ended up coming over not friendly didn't greet us or introduce herself just literally asked what we wanted to order. We all ordered different meals and drinks which one was a mai tai supposedto contain alcohol but unfortunately was just ice and juice. The all you can eat deals were ok the first serving of the shrimp one was perfect with about 10 shrimp and salted fries warm and fresh , Unfortunately the riblets meal were mostly bone and thin and they drowned them in sauce so overpowering ,came along with fries about 7 small skinny riblets. Well since its all you can eat we ask for another round, the next round only brought 4 shrimp and the other meal got 3 riblets and cold unsalted fries. Nextly ordered was a house burger with fries upgraded to waffle fries for an upcharge, when arrived it was regular fries, when we asked she said sorry that she forgot. Also stated she's very short staff which doesn't help the situation at all, it's no one's customer's fault of any issues going on there. The other meal was a chicken quesadilla salad and that was perfect.
