Aromas a la Brasa — Restaurant in Florida

I brought four Chinese grandparents here for a dinner. Their verdict was unanamous: excellent service, delicious food. The servers was patient with us since we are new to Peruvian food. They changed our service between appetizer and main course and clear our table again before dessert. During the meal, they were attentive to refill our water and ask if we needed anything. Everyone seemed happy to work there.

The combination appetizer portion was big enough for 4-6 to share. And it was good for everyone try something new--cerviche, cuasa, tostatones with salsa and fried seafood. The fried fish was particularly nicely done, moist on the inside crispy on the outside. When Cantonese people tell you the chaufa is good, you better believe it. I had the seafood broth and was really impressed that it had both fresh mussels and dried ones. The lamb shank and beef shank were both flavorful and tender. We tried the cheese cake and passion fruit mousse which were both fruity and light.

I am going to give it a 2 - the food was delicious the server and experience was not what I would have expected when bringing my mother for dinner while here from NY. We have been here before and the server spoke no English but yet seemed to have a hard time understanding Spanish too. She took our order, dropped off drinks and never came back to check on refills and asked her for water twice. We asked her for refills and another waitress comes along and whisks her away to go chat with another customer and leaves us waiting. Horrible experiencia. Pedimos una orden delivery y los dos pollos enteros estaban crudos, completamente rojos por dentro. Cuando llamamos a reclamar me dijo la persona que atendia el telefono que cuando la orden salio, estaba bien. No entiendo como se dieron cuenta si el problema era por dentro. Le pedi hablar con un manager y me dijeron que estaba almorzando. Asumo que no tienen idea de lo que significa servicio al cliente.
