This experience was a waste of time and a waste of money. As we all know, Toro Loco is one of the most busiest restaurants. Upon arrival we ordered drinks one Mojito one margarita. The drinks are over poured, it’s not a well balanced drink. It was not a very good drink I couldn’t get myself to even take one more sip of it, it was extremely strong definitely more than 2 ounces of rum. It was awful so I complained about it, and the manager came over to listen to my reasoning of disliking the drink, which I appreciated. She apologize offered us another We declined, and ordered a bottle of wine instead. So then we ordered our food. We ordered the meat to be medium well as soon as it arrived to the table mind you, only the meat arrived. It was not the temperature we asked for we asked for, and it was definitely well done. Then finally, our sides arrived about 10 to 15 minutes later. We were never offered water. We ordered a juice for our two-year-old son that never arrived. About 30 minutes later we realized we no longer had a server because she never checked up on us. Also, did I mention we ordered a bottle so it is knowingly that you should service the table better if the customer is spending. We noticed yes they are busy, but that is not a reason for a server to forget her table. I finally gave a look to the manager and she finally decided to come over and ask us how everything was. I explained to her my discomfort, yet she just asked me if I needed a box to go. This felt like a slap in her face because basically yes yes yes I heard your complaint now Are you leaving? There’s no type of accountability or respect towards the customer. The manager removed the service charge and justified her reason for not attending us because they are very busy. This was a not a very pleasant experience, and I will never go back to a Toro Loco. I also forgot to mention that I just came from the new Toro Loco ranch in the chrome area, and we sadly left there because their service time was insane about 3 hr wait. But that is another long story. Let’s just say this franchise lacks a lot of expertise on how to service. They have the potential because they have a lot of clientele. I really hope that the owner of Toro Loco reads this review and works on that because they are losing a lot of money if they treat every customer like they did to us tonight. There’s great potential to make a lot of money. Anyway ; We are very unhappy with the entire Toro Loco franchise. There’s no type of accountability at all or any type of regard towards a guest. Don’t waste your time going there and go to a better steakhouse who knows how to cook their meat and how to treat their clients and you get more bank for your buck. I will also like to mention that I’ve never written a review for any place ever in my life. This is my first review they should tell...

I recently dined at ToroLoco, and while the food was okay, the service left much to be desired. One major issue is the 18% service charge, which is not openly disclosed—it's only mentioned at the register. They even display a legal letter stating that tips are illegal in Miami-Dade County, but they still impose this non-negotiable fee, even for takeouts.
To make matters worse, our waitress asked us to leave a review and discreetly handed us a QR code in a way that felt suspicious—like she didn’t want others to see. It made us hesitant to scan it, as we weren’t sure if it was safe.
Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I can’t see how this business can survive with such practices. Transparency and better customer service are needed.
The music was excessively loud, seemingly intended to drown out the chatter of the crowd, but instead, it created an overwhelming and unwelcoming atmosphere. Rather than enhancing the environment, the noise made it difficult to enjoy the setting.
What stood out even more was the behavior of the staff. The cattiness between the behind-the-counter staff and the servers was blatantly evident to the patrons. The counter staff appeared visibly frustrated with the servers for not picking up food orders quickly enough, resorting to chiming a dinner bell repeatedly. This persistent bell ringing disrupted any potential for a pleasant dining experience, further compounding the already noisy environment.
The lack of cohesion among the staff and the excessive noise made the visit far from enjoyable. Toro Loco may benefit from addressing these issues to create a more welcoming and harmonious dining atmosphere for their customers.
The menu is too difficult to read. The pictures in the background with a font that is too small and overplayed on the picture almost makes it seem as I was...
Read more⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) The food at El Toro Loco is absolutely delicious, easily a 10/10, and the atmosphere is vibrant and lively. However, the service felt way too rushed, which took away from the experience. I understand that the restaurant is small and always busy, with people often waiting outside, but during our visit, we were in and out in just an hour, not by choice, but because it felt like we were being hurried along. Our waitress, Yudi, didn’t provide much guidance despite it being our first time there. We had to ask for everything ourselves, and after receiving our food, she didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert, I mentioned it to my friend, and only then did she pick up on the hint and ask. When dessert arrived, I was considering ordering a coffee, but before we even finished eating, she brought the receipt. At that point, I just didn’t bother asking for the coffee because it was clear they wanted us to wrap up. The tip was already added to the bill, and I had the option to add more, which felt a bit pushy given how rushed the service was. To top it off, we were asked to leave a review, which we agreed to, but unlike other restaurants where we could write our own thoughts, the waitress wrote the comment herself, included her own name, thanked herself, and posted it for us without giving us much say in it. I didn’t want to call her out, as I know they likely ask her to do that, but it felt too pushy, just like the rest of the service. Overall, amazing food and atmosphere, but I really wish I had been able to enjoy my time there instead of feeling like I was on a timer. If the service were more relaxed and welcoming, this place would be perfect. But I guess I’ll just stick to the food trucks, since the food itself is great but service not so much, at least what we...
