The server, Alfie - Server Assistant, Don & Manager, Nicolle provided some of the most heightened levels of personal hospitality I have ever received. It was magical how they all worked like one moving part. I wanted to surprise my partner with a full Korean / Japanese grilling experience - therefore, we requested a grilling table and the chef's feast grilling option for two. This option did not disappoint as it came with surpberbly seasoned portions of amazing cut as well as chicken. The cuts - which all melted in your mouth - paired harmoniously with our chosen starters - Shishito Peppers, Wagyu Dumplings atop a bed of Wasabi Mashed Potatoes & Kimchi Fried Rice. If you have a palette like me - please be sure to order the Passion Fruit Bourbon Cocktail... It's delicious. Now back to the meal and the staff... :) Alfie was tasked with grilling our meats as my partner nor myself wanted to be responsible for under or over-cooking anything. Alfie did such an amazing job and provided the history on each item along with a few few fun facts about his travels. He's definitely a great asset. Don would swoop in effortlessly to ask if we required refills on our beverages, water or fresh plates and if we had any questions he was available to answer them... The service was truly a moving work of art. Then the dessert... I cannot begin to explain how utterly pleasing and refreshing the Berry Japanese Shaved Ice Dessert truly was. LIKE COMPLETELY GOBSMACKED at the delicate flavors marrying together... The Lovely Operating Partner, Hai - stopped by our grilling table to educate my partner and I about this wonderful dessert new to Bae's menu and how the ice is actually flown in from Japan to create the most authentic flavor profile for this amazing dessert. I'm telling you... You HAVE to try it! It's such a compliment to the rest of the meal. Along with the Ube Flan... Sheesh That was also Divine!!! The simplicity and complexity your taste buds experience with each bite of the Ube Flan - Chef's Kiss. Sidebar: I totally had a Pixar Ratatouile moment when the main character bit into the strawberry and cheese simultaneously. Overall, my partner and I were truly satisfied with everything. If you were on the fence about trying this place - please don't be. You won't regret your choice experiencing Bae.

I Love Bae and Bae Loves Me, and We Love @baekoreangrill at @hardrockholly because they are so #vegan friendly! We review vegan restaurants and vegan options on instagram: @the_vegan_vagabonds The staff at Bae Korean Grill always goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests and it is the perfect place to eat if you are at the casino or before a show at the Hardrock in Hollywood. At first glance there seem to be very little vegan options, but with a little creativity and a very friendly staff, any dish on the menu can be #veganized We always order the Crispy Bok Choy with garlic soy, pomegranate and crunchy garlic. It is one of the few dishes on the menu they do not need to be altered to be vegan and it is one of our favorite starters we have had together, highly recommended for vegan and non-vegans too. The next dish is also one of favorites, but it definitely requires a few alterations. The Stir-Fried Korean Udon Noodles normally prepared with american wagyu, spinach and egg, was made vegan for us by omitting the egg and substituting the wagyu for tofu, we are always so #grateful to the staff for accommodating our requests to make this delicious vegan alternative for us, and we highly recommend this flavorful noodle dish. The next dish requires a a bit more alterations, but trust me, it’s totally worth it, the Bibimbap, served with rice, assorted vegetables, gochujang sauce, egg yolk, sweet soy, and choice of beef bulgogi, chicken or shrimp was made vegan for us by using #tofu as our protein, leaving the egg yolk off the dish and using a ginger dressing instead of a fish sauce. The extra effort by the staff was very much appreciated and the dish was quite honestly a flavor explosion of traditional Korean flavors, we can’t get enough it, and if you try it, you will see why we love it so much. Now no night at the Hardrock Casino is complete without drinks, and Bae has the best cocktail menu at the casino. This evening we opted for sangria, one red, one white, both very refreshing and the prefect drinks to accompany the Korean spices. There are many other dishes you as a vegan can enjoy, just ask your server and they will help you navigate it. Good luck and enjoy, I know we always do! #Cheers #veganfoodie #veganfoodshare #veganfoodblog

When you walk in ,you see this beautiful large Buddha head . The lighting in the restaurant is excellent. The restaurant aesthetic is beautiful. Then to the right you see two hostess everything is going great. Then I proceeded to ask the hostess for a table for two. She politely replies , “Would you like a grilled or regular table?.” This is my first time here, so I replied “ grilled “. Next to her was another hostess which responded to her with an attitude corrected her about the grilled table. she grilled her ,and was testy and pushy towards her about not giving me the table. I was so uncomfortable just waiting to be seated or not. So why ask ? Anyways Then this rude hostess which later That evening I found out she is the manager by the name of Kathy a tall red head. Kathy turns to me with out even explaining anything about the menu . mind you that this is my first time going to this restaurant , and it’s their second week since the grand opening. Kathy just turned to me with a rude body language and unprofessional sarcastic tone and said ,”that if she gives me a grilled table i need to get out by an hour!!!! “ Any ways ....I brushed it off and responded ,”a regular table is fine .”not knowing nothing about the regular table . I just wanted to have a good time and eat, and see what the hype was all about. I was still bothered , So since she’s the manager. I ask the waiter for the manager’s supervisor Ben. He was very apologetic. All that feeling for one bad weed to damage your whole night. But then again you walk in at this restaurant and your being presented by the enlightened-one. And Kathy the manager supposed to represent y’all and she doesn’t even have courtesy. On my way out she walked right by me and rolled her eyes at me. Wow ...She tried to intimidate me one more time. Btw.... the grilled tables as you see in the photos were all empty the whole entire time I was there. My waiter by the way name Katie was very attentive she almost made up for Kathy the manager that left a bad taste in my mouth. And Alejandro who kept coming by to see if we were ok Was nice. The waiters I could say were amazing.

Bae Korean Grill is excellent. We had dinner here before seeing John Legend at Hard Rock Live. Had reservations for 5pm on a Sunday evening and it was crowded. We arrived at 4:45pm and there was a line with about five different parties. Luckily for us, we made reservations ahead of time and they seated us immediately. They asked if we wanted to do the Bae grilling experience. We passed on the grilling experience since we’ve had that experience at Cote Miami and just wanted to order a la carte. Lorenzo was our server and he was wonderful. Friendly and on top of it. I got the Passion Fruit Bourbon cocktail and hubby got a Tito’s Vodka & Red Bull. We found out that his Tito’s & Red Bull cost a whopping $13 + $3 rocks + $8 Red Bull = $24!!! OMG. That’s insane and not cool Bae. His drink cost more than mine which was $18. Wish Lorenzo informed us of the added costs on hubby’s drink. Now you know. My Passion Friit Bourbon cocktail was so good. A great bourbon drink with a hint of sweetness from the passion fruit. For dinner, we ordered the following: • Crispy Bok Choy • Steamed Branzino • Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap • Wagyu Skirt Steak Everything we had from the drinks to the food was ridiculously good. Crispy Bok Choy was different and was mixed tableside. Fancy. Light and crispy. Loved the garlic soy, pomegranate and crunchy garlic slices. It was a tad oily but still quite tasty. Steamed Branzino was perfectly light and fluffy, good simple flavors. Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap could have been better if the rice was super crispy. Unfortunately, not much crispiness at all. Really wonderful flavors and yummy but damn we really wanted that crispy rice crunchy goodness! Wagyu Skirt Steak was cooked perfectly at a medium rare and I swear it tasted like BUTTA! Holy moly. Did not disappoint. We were too full for any dessert so hard pass on that. Ha. All in all, vibe, service, drinks & food were fabulous! Bae is pricey but worth it. Very swanky spot and obviously a hot spot. Located in the heart of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, across from The Oculus, squeezed in between Cipresso and Hard Rock Live Box Office.

Exec summary + tips: luxurious ambiance, attentive service, order the American wagyu and shrimp at the grill table. Use restrooms before you get there. You can order drinks to bring with you in the common areas/shops. Detailed review: Excellent food and experience at Bae's for my bae's birthday (sorry had to do it). Good for date night as this restaurant has a beautiful luxurious and somewhat dark ambiance. The background music was not too loud for us (mentioned in many reviews) but we went at a sparse time on Tuesday afternoon, it is possible the noise level is much higher at busier time. Service was very attentive excepting possibly one of the greeters seemed bored or annoyed with me for reasons unknown, but the servers were very personable. King Crab Mandu appetizer was very good and the sauce they provided with it was delicious. I love using the Korean grill at the table because it is interactive and the servers light the grill for you, but then provide cooking times for us to DIY. I like meat and fire, what can I say. We ordered the American wagyu 10 ounce beef ($110), shrimp, lamb chops and vegetables for the grille. As one would expect the Wagyu was the best it was delicious and tender, the shrimp are not described as such but they are very large if not Jumbo I definitely recommend. I found lamb chops to be very fatty, may have been better off with pork belly. We both enjoyed the lychee martinis and I had a Cucumber LastWord drink that was quite good. Scorpion Bowl looks amazing, but it had the oddest taste neither of us liked and I felt bad sending back. We got a little scoop of ice cream for birthday with the candle streamer or whatever you call that. You can take drinks with you btw, as we had two to go when we headed to casino next door. I went to three restaurants/lounges that afternoon and the way this place works is you have to exit and go into the main corridor to use one of the restrooms there. Expecting this to be expensive, I wasn't surprised dinner came to $300 before tax and tip.

⏱ If you are driving there, make sure to plan for 15-20 minutes of extra time to park and then walk there. The parking situation can be messy depending on what time you go, the parking is fairly big, and elevators are busy. ⚡️ Once we arrived, we were promptly seated, and our waitress welcomed us immediately. Service at Bae was extremely efficient, and they always have an eye on you. As soon as your water glass is half full, they will fill it. As soon as you are done with your food, the plate gets removed. The food came extremely quickly, we were in and out of the restaurant under 1H. 🍖 The food was good. We went for 4 items. The Crispy Bok Choy, the Pork Belly, the Bulgogi, and the Pork Belly Buns. Everything was tasty and beautiful. We finished with the Ube Flan, highly recommended. I saw many negative reviews about quantity, I thought it was perfectly appropriate for this type of restaurant. With one starter and main dish per person, with a dessert to share with my partner, we were full. 📃 I will say that the menu is a bit confusing, we were not too sure how to navigate it, and some items that seemed to be central to the menu are not what you usually find in a Korean place. The trick here is to look at Yelp pictures, so you know what you are getting into. Waitresses were also very good at proactively explaining the menu. 💵 I saw a lot of negative reviews about the price. Is it expensive? Yes. But overly expensive? I don't think so. The restaurant is in a casino and is good-looking, with excellent service and good food. I found prices to be appropriate. 🇰🇷 Finally, is it "authentic Korean food"? Not really, but it's a modern take on it, and I thought everything was well executed. 👍 Please like this review if it was helpful to you. It encourage me to write more of them!
