Was so very disappointed in this hotel. My husband and I were super excited to spend our 36th Wedding Anniversary at this beautiful new 4 star hotel. The pictures online were amazing! It was located right across the street from Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL and the rooms were around $300 a night (as opposed to over $700 a night at Hard Rock or $129 a night for nice 2 star hotels up the street). We chose this particular hotel because they advertised they had a shuttle they takes you to the casino and a nice restaurant and pool on the roof. AFTER we checked in at about 8pm, I asked the desk clerk (who claimed he was the supervisor) what time the restaurant closes. He said the restaurant was currently closed. I said well it didn't say anything about it being closed on your website. And he told me some story about it being Kosher and they don't open on Fridays??? So I was like, well do you have any other restaurants in this hotel? He said no, but the casino across the street (major highway) has restaurants. So I was like ok, what time does the casino shuttle go over there? He said, oh, the shuttle is broken down so we currently don't offer shuttle service. Again, I said, you guys should indicate that on your website! So here we were, paying $300 a night for a 4 star hotel that literally had ZERO amenities available. In addition, we were told when we got there they only had valet parking at $35 a night (even though their website clearly states they have self parking available). So I told him, we had changed our minds and were going to go to another hotel. He said he couldn't refund my money but he would give us a "25% discount" and upgrade our room and that he would talk to management about comping the second night when they come in the next morning and that they would contact us. So we moved into our "upgraded" room (across the hall) which was identical to the room we just came from except it had a very small balcony. So now I am frustrated but my husband and I decided we would try to make the best of it because we didn't want to spoil our anniversary. I move the pillow do put my purse down and see a BUG crawling across the bed where I had just lifted the pillow from. I call down to the front desk and ask them to come take a look because if it was a bedbug, I was going to leave whether we got our money back or not! So the maintenance guy comes up, picks up the bug and says, oh, its "only a baby cockroach." ONLY A COCKROACH???? Then he accidentally drops it, and now we can't find it and it is crawling lose in our $300 a night 4 star hotel room with ZERO amenities. Saturday comes and management never contacts us. When we had left for the day Saturday morning, we requested towels, coffee, shampoo, body wash, and to have our garbage emptied. They never came. I called again 8 hours later when we got back, still nothing. I had to track a guy down (who didn't even work in housekeeping) just to get towels so we could take a shower. We go to bed Saturday night (we were located on the 6th floor) and the restaurant/bar that was not open the night before is now open and it is playing the loudest music I have ever heard and people were literally screaming and carrying on, DIRECTLY ABOVE our hotel room, it sounded like they were in the same room! It went on until 3am. We had to get up and leave by 6:30 am, so we didn't get any sleep. Sunday 6:30am, I call down for a luggage cart and was told I would have to come down and get it myself, (so much for four star service). I couldn't believe that it could just keep getting worse, but it did. Then the coup de gras was when we went to check out, I showed the clerk the note signed by the "supervisor" in his own handwriting stating that he was taking 25% off the hotel rooms and not charging us for the valet, but this crazy rude clerk overcharged us anyhow! That was when I was decided I had no choice but to report what we had gone through to save others the hassle. Thanks Dolce Wyndham for ruining our 36th anniversary. We...
Read moreConvenient location for business travelers as it's close to major highways and FLL airport. Great location for people who want to go to Seminole Hard Rock Casino, which is right across the street. As someone who has worked in the hotel and travel industry for more than 20 years, here is my take: The hotel is brand new, having been open just about a month and a half at this point. Arrival is a huge pain because this hotel shares entry and exit with a McDonald's. Just a few cars arriving at the hotel backs everything up and as a result they've hired and attended to stand out there and help direct traffic. When I arrived it took me more than 10 minutes before I could pull in to actually get my car to valet. Completely unacceptable in my opinion, especially because overnight guests are not prioritized over attendees that are going to the rooftop bar. The arrival process is honestly nothing short of a disaster. The urban planner who decided it was a good idea for the hotel to share an arrival area with McDonald's should be fired at the very least. The valet attendant who finally took my car never even offered to help me remove bags from my trunk, nor did he ask if I needed a bell cart, let alone a bellman. The front desk staff was nice and efficient, however proved to be inexperienced and not knowledgeable about the hotel. I asked for a quiet room, away from the noise of the rooftop bar and restaurant. The agent told me that he assigned me a room on a lower floor which would be away from the noise, but when I arrived at my room I was disappointed to find that it was literally 10 feet away from a mechanical room that makes LOUD 24/7 noise that can be heard all the way down the hall. When I entered my room I immediately noticed the strong smell of cigarette smoke. I was too tired at this point to try and get another room and just decided to stick it out. The rooms are decent with a few issues. The lighting is absolutely horrible. There's not enough light in the main living space nor in the bathroom, and to make it worse the bathroom has black marble, making everything much darker. If you're a woman and you want to put some makeup on, be prepared for that to be a pain because you can't see anything. The next thing is the beds. Since the hotel is brand new at this point, the beds should be very comfortable. This may just be a matter of personal preference, but at home I sleep on a memory foam mattress, and I'm disappointed that these mattresses are coil. Perhaps just personally not my taste. On the second night of my stay, which was a Thursday night, there was some kind of party happening upstairs once again. At well past midnight the music was still going so loudly that I could hear it from the third floor. I attempted to call the front desk from my room to ask when the music would be turned off or lowered. However, after 3 attempts, nobody ever picked up the phone, and nobody picked up then either. This hotel is located immediately across the street from the Seminole hard Rock Hotel and Casino, so it's understandable. The crowd at this hotel is more of a leisure visitor. For me, this trip happens to be a business trip, so I really do need to get some sleep. For that reason, I would not recommend this hotel for any business traveler on any day of the week. As previously covered, I checked in on a Wednesday and there was a party upstairs, and on the second day of my stay there was another party upstairs. In general, I just don't think this hotel meets the expectations of a Wyndham brand hotel. It's new and nice, and even hip. It's modern and stylish, and I do like it, but the service isn't there. If it were then I would maybe be able to overlook the issues with parking and the rooftop restaurant noise. If I have to travel again on business I would definitely not...

My stay at this Wyndham hotel was an absolute nightmare! TERRIBLE management, TERRIBLE customer service, and TERRIBLE corporate support from Wyndham itself! If you’re looking at reviews to decide where to stay, seriously, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Here's exactly what happened: We booked a one-night stay for the weekend, expecting a smooth check-in, internet, TV access, and breakfast. Instead, the entire hotel had NO INTERNET for the ENTIRE WEEKEND! Due to this outage, they wouldn't even check us into our room on time, leaving us forced to waste the very little time we had between our arrival and the concert.
We planned to arrive, check in smoothly, freshen up after traveling, and head out early to eat at the Hard Rock then enjoy a show. We were traveling with my elderly 85-year-old parent, who needed timely access to the room for rest after the journey. Instead, the Wyndham staff refused to check us in manually and insisted on waiting for internet restoration. They provided no helpful alternatives or solutions. We left everything In the car and took a shuttle to the hard rock to kill time.
When we tried to call the front desk to check our room status, there was NO ANSWER AT THE HOTEL. Even Wyndham's corporate customer service team couldn't reach their own hotel! So, we were forced to shuttle back to the hotel just to find out what was happening —again wasting more of the limited time we had to enjoy our stay.
Finally, after hours of frustration, they gave us a physical key to our room (because the internet was still down). But even then, NO TV service for the ENTIRE STAY.
The next morning, breakfast was also a disaster: Cold eggs, broken toaster, empty coffee pot, and dismissive staff. It felt like no one cared or was paying attention to guests' needs. There was an omelet station, but with limited ingredients. There was also a dangerous slip hazard with wet tile floors in hallways and elevators—highly risky for elderly guests.
If all that wasn't enough, upon checkout, the hotel manager explicitly promised to adjust our bill and give us a reduced rate due to this horrible experience (no internet, no TV, delayed check-in, and terrible breakfast). She claimed she couldn't print us a receipt at checkout because of ongoing internet problems. But guess what? They just charged my account way above the initial AMOUNT—no discount, no adjustment, and no consideration for their broken promises!
I attempted repeatedly to call the hotel directly to resolve the overcharge when it was pending on my account, but AGAIN NO ANSWER. Calling Wyndham’s corporate customer service was a complete waste of time, as they stated that Wyndham hotels are individually franchised. They have absolutely no interest or control over hotel management or billing issues, and shockingly didn't even care to know which Wyndham hotel provided such a horrible experience under their name. When I explicitly asked Wyndham customer service if they wanted to know the location to follow up, they flat-out told me NO. Completely unacceptable and baffling lack of accountability from corporate.
BOTTOM LINE: Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL or any Wyndham property if you value basic amenities, timely customer service, honesty, and accountability. Wyndham Hotels clearly DO NOT CARE about their guests' experiences or satisfaction. This was the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Stay elsewhere, save yourself the frustration, and avoid getting ripped off!
