Edit: I would like to personally thank [Your Name] for the response. It was very sincere and not at all a generic response. Thank you for showing genuine concern. It means a lot to former customers. I say "former" because this response made me realize it's actually not important to you to have my business, so I'll take it elsewhere.
Luckily I love Five Guys. But it shouldn't take 3 ATTEMPTS to make the burgers right. First .y sons didn't have bacon on it. Easy. Ask for it and they gave. I sit down and open mine and my fiancée's burger. Neither had the mushrooms we asked for. So I go again, albeit a little frustrated. The manger comes and says, "did you order it?" Like I was just looking to just start an arguement. Luckily I brought the literal receipt. It showed on mine that I did. With a condescending, "Sorry," He throws the wrong ones away and makes fresh ones. Brings them to me and my burger STILL has no mushrooms. Like...I didn't ask you to make me news ones, but you had to cuz you tore them open to prove me wrong. I go up a final time, and was rightfully angry. He said, "what was wrong with the ones we just made?" I said mine is still missing mushrooms. He said, "Then why did I make them again?" I yelled, "because they both needed mushrooms!" He gave me a cup filled with them and did not apologize. Just poor display of management and customer service. Unfortunately this is the only Five Guys near so I will have...
Read moreWe went here last night to get food. James, who seemed to be the store manager, took our order. He was a little curt with us but we didn’t think anything of it at the time. After ordering, we were waiting for our food and realized we forgot to ask for extra cheese on one of the burgers. As we have come to five guys many times in the past, we believed extra cheese was free as we had not been charged for it before. So we asked the people making our burger if they could add extra cheese. They did but then James came out and started yelling at the guys making our food, saying that cheese is an up charge and they shouldn’t have done that. It was very uncomfortable for us and we didn’t appreciate how he was speaking to the cooks, especially when it seemed like he was making this up as we had never been charged for extra cheese in the past. I ended up looking it up too and everything I found said that extra cheese is free. Even if this is not the case, it was extremely inappropriate for James to speak to these employees this way right in front of us. The food the other guys made was delicious and we love five guys but tbh this kind of turned us off and made us not want to go back, at least to this location. I hope it was just a bad day for James but that does not excuse speaking down to people who are just trying to do their job and make the...
Read moreCame here late after a long day of work and ordered food for my family and asked him if they could split a strawberry milkshake for my two toddlers. The man at the cashier said absolutely no problem, sir. We’d be happy to do that for you after I paid the manager Jose said it would be absolutely impossible for him to do that or he would get fired from his boss. He then began to humiliate me in front of the entire store and tell me that even though I was told it would be split it’s impossible for him to do so and there’s nothing I can do so I ordered another one and he said he would not even give me another cup with whipped cream because I was arguing with him even though I was not arguing with him, I was just explaining the situation he did not care. He only wanted to embarrass me in front of all the other customers in the store, it was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever seen in my life. I don’t know why Jose is so angry at the customers. He was also speaking badly to his team on the line. Most five guy. Restaurants are really good and have happy employees. Jose and his team are not...
