Bradentrucky — Restaurant in Florida

First off, I have had some amazingly awesome meals at various food truck venues, and I am so happy they have been making a comeback. Sadly however, this was not one of them. I stopped by to see what Bradentrucky had to offer, then ordered one of the ‘main’ menu items…a chicken tenders type meal, and a fancy toasted roll with a unique (sounding) seasoning. Sounded great and I was quite hungry, so I took it home looking forward to that “eureka” moment that I’ve had so many times before with other food trucks. Once at home, I opened the styrofoam container. The pictures you’ll see were taken once I looked inside. I had not yet touched the food into I turned the fancy seasoned roll over. Kings Hawaiian rolls, funny. I didn’t bother tasting the fancy seasoning having found only 3 chicken nuggets, not tenders. Yes 3, one was slit in two, either to check to see if it was cooked…or perhaps to make the meal look bigger 😂. Honest, I did not touch the chicken at all. Well, I went back to Bradentrucky, gave it back to them and said “here, take this back, oh and keep the 12 bucks. You obviously need it”…Didn’t realize I bought an overpriced...

What a shame. This owner is a fantastic chef. He really dropped the ball when he named his food truck. I can't tell you how many (quite a lot) of people who have commented negatively about the name and stated they won't patronize it. Although some may think BradentRucky is clever, it's offensive and degrading to most of us - especially those in W and NW Bradenton. Adding the "R" to the name doesn't do anything. It's still offensive and hints to calling Bradenton residents backward hillbillies. Social media has spoken. Seriously consider rebranding. It's not...

By far the best wings I have EVER had. Get the ones coated in buttermilk; I promise you won't be disappointed. Their diverse selection of sauces are all homemade - try them all. And the banana pepper rings are truly an act of God - I crave them all the time. The owner is super nice, and you can tell he has a passion for cooking and feeding people delicious food. Don't sleep on this...
