Breakers Bar — Restaurant in Florida

I was passing by when I witnessed a truly disappointing and unacceptable situation at this establishment. A group of bar workers and customers aggressively confronted two asphalt workers simply because their cars got dusty. The workers remained professional, tried to calm the situation, and even apologized, but the bar patrons and employees continued to be extremely rude and hostile.

What shocked me the most was the clear racial undertone in their behavior. The asphalt workers were Hispanic, and instead of handling the situation maturely, one of the bar patrons called them "ignorant" and even threatened to report them to their company to try to get them fired. It was completely uncalled for and downright discriminatory.

No business that allows this kind of behavior from its staff and customers deserves support. If this is how they treat hardworking people, I can only imagine how they treat others. I highly recommend avoiding this place and spending your money somewhere that values respect...

I would have rated this a 4 . Nice neighborhood bar with bands on Friday some good some not. Here is my problem. I am a good citizen , when I go there and drink I take alternate transportation, I tip well and never cause trouble. Last time I went they did to me or tried to do what other Florida bars do. When I bought a wells for 2.50, cheap enough. I gave the lady a 10 , she gave me just 2.50 back. In other words thinking I was stinking drunk the POS tried to cheat me. This is just wrong. Of course she gave some lame excuse, as they always do. Such a shame the night was still young , no work next day. It ruined my experience and I went home. You can best believe I will never...

I love this place but the bartenders have to much control. I'm kicked out because they don't like me and to be honest I've never in my 37 yrs been kicked out of a bar. I see why the owners have to sell. The bartenders turn down business because of their own personal issues. I hope the new owners fire the people in place and have a wonderful atmosphere for people to enjoy their self at a bar without judgement. It is a great bar with wonderful prices but the bartenders are judgemental and outrageous. Just don't make them mad. Well just got a call because of my post and I'm never allowed...
