Never again. What you get for your money is funny. Not a very welcoming place at 6 pm on a Friday night 2 people in the dinning room. Does that tell you anything? Spend your hard earned money at a place that cares. I haven't been here in a few yrs and it hasent changed not one bit. I gave it another chance when I should have drove right down the rd to jimbos. I got a pulled pork sandwich a side of Mac and cheese whatever that yellow funny tasting stuff was and a side of cold French fries hard they looked like the ones you by at walmart in a big bag less than a small handful smaller than McDonald's small fry and bubbaques charged me 4 dollars for it my total was right 25 dollars. Damn what was I thinking. Again I have no skin in this game but to let you know what I think about places that take your money and don't really care much about you other than a dollar. Some homeless woman sat in a chair right by the front door just watching you looking for you to give them some.money. Just pass this class by. Not worth it. I told the manager and I think some other girl Skylar that I haven't been there in a few yrs due to a bad experience I had before and they tried but you could tell it was because of the reviews I do. They did give me a refill on the unsweetened tea. The tea was great. They stood behind the swinging door talking to some guy I never seen but I could hear him and them loud and clear she kept peeking out the window hole. . The staff was ok same as you would get a a McDonald's. Truth i don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but come on...... I will pass on this place even if I had to go home and make me a cheese sandwich or...

I will start by saying I know that with a real smoke pit you really gotta keep on it and make sure temps stay stable and not every experience may be the same.

Staff was excellent and service was great they really make you feel welcome and I enjoyed that part

The food was a blend of ok. I had the brisket flat I didn’t ask for the point but wish I would have, the flat portion as I was told as they handed it to me was a new brisket so I definitely got the driest cut I’ve ever had in my lifetime of eating brisket. The flavor had that subtle smoke but there was no real seasoning I could taste. Had to drown it in bbq to get it down.

The ribs were cooked great nice and moist but again. No seasoning no real flavor

The sides were the best part. That is an unfortunate statement but the coleslaw was very good I loved the tangy sweet taste it had and the corn on the cob had some delicious flavored butter on it I only wish the meat had flavor like this corn did. Bread is bread but it was toasted proper.

Overall I won’t be making any special trips back here and based on this initial visit I don’t think I will come back if I am in the area. Well. Maybe one more shot.

An aggravating experience. I ordered a salad which the description specifically says there are French fried onion rings on the salad. Sometimes there is one thing that completely sells you on item you were considering, and that was that one item. I get home and there are no onion rings. Just lettuce, cheese tomato red onion and a very small amount of chicken for 12 dollars. I called up there to explain I was missing the onion rings (again, the main reason I wanted the salad) for the woman on the other end to tell me it doesn’t come with it…. Ma’am, it’s on the menu description. “ well we don’t and haven’t done that in a long time.” She also proceeded to tell me the owner knows and there are multiple items on the menu that have things in the description that do not come with the actual meal…. I’m sorry, but it is unacceptable to pay and not get what you order with no explanation that there are missing items… it’s also unacceptable to have a staff tell a customer basically that they are wrong even though the description says differently. After the mild back and forth all I got was an “we’re sorry ma’am,” And that’s it. I will not be returning after such a disappointing, wilted and lacking salad and the conversation between the staff. I like to know what I’m getting...
