For all of you that were not aware today was free whopper day at any participating burger 🍔 king. On the smartnews app it said that all you had to do was go to one and you would get one. I go there and then they tell me that I had to use the mobile app in order to get them. I tried everything I could instruction wise so that I could get my free sandwiches. A young african/ american teenage boy I do not know his name but he was very helpful to me in trying to help me get my free food to no avail he did what he could to help me. Then I asked for his manager to help me and she was absolutely useless of my situation even after I showed her the news article on my phone she totally disregarded me as a paying customer and such when I go to any restaurant I like to deal with knowledgeable and competent managers anywhere but today I was very infuriated with the manager because she did absolutely nothing to help me at all! For the news telling me that all you had to do was to go to a burger 🍔 king for a free whopper and then be told that you had to use your mobile app is a deceptive practice! Had I known that I would've prepared in advance before going and had what I needed before ordering. I commend the cashier at the route 484 in ocala for being patient and trying to help me unlike his manager who was a caucasian woman who could stand to lose some weight which was totally unaware that today was free whopper day but the cashier that took care of me was also unaware until I showed him the news article but he did what he could. I was dissatisfied with my service today and ended up buying something else when I wanted my free whopper's!!! The manager should be replaced! The cashier should replace the manager he was more patient and understanding than...
Read moreI want to start off by saying this NOT a food problem, this is a customer service review.
Tiffany at the drive thru window was extremely rude on todays visit- I was shorted one of the drinks we paid for and she handed our food so fast And slammed the window shut as I was talking. So I sat at the window waiting and she was not coming to the window at all. She finally returned, opened the window and said “yes?” Which I didn’t really care for but I told her we had 3 frozen cokes and only received two, offered to show her the reciept but she again let the window slam in my face. She looked up (maybe at an order screen?) threw her hands up, rolled her eyes and then went around the corner to get it. When she handed me the drink I said “thank you so much” she didn’t say a word. Handed me the straw and slammed the window again.
This is NOT the first time I have experienced a poor attitude from this same person- I chalked it up to them being short staffed. I write the review today as I say 4 other employees in the front with Tiffany and there was another on the back window. This was not about staffing, she is...
Read moreThis Buger King location is a nice place to stop for lunch on our way back to Atlanta. The dining area was mostly clean, the restroom was fairly clean, the order was accurate and the food was prepared well.
The reason I'm not giving this a five star is partly because of the overall cleanliness, but mostly for the disrespectful outbursts from the shift manager. One of the employees (Paige), was yelled at by the shift manager. This was so loud that it was easy to hear every word she was saying from the dining area. This is incredibly the wrong way to build a team, is disrespectful and was clearly emotional abuse. This should always be handled professionally, in private (or quietly) and especially not in hear-shot of the customers! Just a few moments later (before I recieved my food order), this same manager was yelling because she was frustrated with a to-go bag! Again, this is not how anyone, especially the manager, should behave in public and is not professional.
Lastly, the oreo milkshake was awesome! Kudos to this location for the food...
