It had been awhile since I’ve been to a BurgerFi since they closed the one at UTC due to staffing issues, so I decided drive an extra 10 minutes to try out this location.
First, my two favorite burgers, the Breakfast All Day Burger and the Conflicted Burger, are no longer on the menu. I settled on a regular ol’ cheeseburger, although they have some new burgers which sound pretty good.
Second, the customer service needs work. My server wasn’t the most pleasant to talk to, wasn’t very attentive, and walked away to do something in the middle of taking my order. Also, the person who handed me my to-go order wasn’t very pleasant either.
Third, while my cheeseburger was pretty solid, my Urban Style fries were the opposite. Every other french fry was either hard or tasted bad or like was sitting out for a while and this was only after 15-20 minutes after I received them, drove home, and ate. It would also be nice if they included more garlic aioli sauce. A single little dip cup for each order of fries is barely enough. Also, the paper straws don’t last very long before they get soggy so I suggest you grab an extra one if you plan on having your fountain drink for longer than 30 minutes.
I won’t be coming back to this location again, at least for a long while. The price I paid for my food was WAY to much for the customer service and the quality of food provided. The location that was at UTC was awesome before COVID happened. BurgerFi used to be my go-to but now it’s just another restaurant in the background.
You are better off taking your money to another burger restaurant such as Five Guys, which is much better overall for the price and is consistently good or above. This BurgerFi location needs...
Read moreAfter ordering food went over to get Ketchup for fries. After pumping 10 plus times I realized they were out. An associate just walked by and I asked her. She said yeah we just came through a rush. We can give you packets. And though she did. Not once in the entire half hour -40 minutes we were there did they simply just refill them....I went back twice and was pumping the bottom of the barrel as we rendered additional fries. CEO burger was ok but I agree with another post here. Food is priced high for what u get. Fries were bit over cooked and we didn't even eat rest of 2nd large order. $3.00 for a fountain drink and tho thats the norm in restaurants.... it never really taste like Coke...I don't blame burger fi but Coke..these machine just rarely seem to put out right syrup mix and drinks taste like soda water and little syrup.. I always trying to get something else that taste better....very nice build out and belive pricing has to support it...and agree with that!!! However, common sense things like refilling a ketchup pump is ridiculous. Really wanted to love it more as we had great experience at university location few years back and had eaten there several times. Now days with pricing going up restaurants have to up there game if they want to stay in it. Attending to details will be a big part of success. Not sure if we want to come back wish it had been different...staff overall was nice just lacking...
Read moreThe quality of this franchise is extremely inconsistent and for this location very poor. The staff asked us to order using the kiosk but since the kiosk does not accept cash we placed our order via the cashier. We quickly noticed that the menu is different than other burgerfis - this one doesn’t have ingredient options such as lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, etc listed. That seems like a silly oversight. Nonetheless, we ordered. The cashier charged us for an additional burger, which she later refunded and apologized for so no biggy. However, they also forgot to add the requested pickles to my burger so I asked for pickles and received two measly little pickles; enough to satisfy 3 bites. She also forgot to add the BurgerFi sauce on the side as initially requested. When the cashier brought us our food she didn’t offer any sauces as she did to the customer besides us. We were very polite to the young female so I thought that was a little weird and inconsistent. The employees appear to be very young, absent minded individuals. But it doesn’t end with our order. The tables outside were dirty and napkins were only placed on indoor tables. It was one little mishap after another. I do not recommend this establishment. Quality has severely decreased over the years and is highly dependent on franchise owner. This BurgerFi is a new age Burger King or Wendy, but costlier....
