Read moreWe just went there today for the first and last time. I was so happy when I found out there is a location here because it is closer to our house than the University Parkway one.
It is a new restaurant and when you walk in there are these tablet there that you can order your food from yourself if you want. We decided to go to the girl at the counter.
We all like the hazelnut coffee as everyone else obviously does. The pot was completely empty. When we finished our second choice coffee and when up for refills, it was still empty and that was about 20 minutes later.
When we got to our table, we weren't sure if you have to go up and get your food yourself or if they bring it to your table like other locations. We were talking out loud to each other asking this question and there was an employee eating a sandwich who totally ignored us. Some other customers sitting at a nearby table heard us and told us that when the thing buzzed, we go to get our food and put the buzzer into the basket.
When it buzzed, we went up to get our food. One of the sandwiches was wrong and they had put ham instead if the steak that was ordered and which is more expensive. My brother was just going to eat the wrong sandwich so as not to complain and I told him to go and get what he ordered.
We used the washroom before we left and I couldn't believe how filthy the floor was! I didnt want to even stand in whatever was there and have it in the bottom of my shoes and then have to go into my car. It wasnt just the mess on the floor in front of the toilet either. The whole floor in this place is filthy.
I took a picture of the floor and unfortunately I can't figure out how to post the picture with this review. You wouldn't want to eat there if you saw it because they say you can tell how clean a restaurants kitchen is by how clean the washroom is!
This location is horrible and i guess it is a reflection whoever...
Read moreFood was not good: Chicken is very fake and frozen tasting, and the lettuce was wilted. Service was really terrible as well. Cashier couldn't hear anything I was saying. I had to repeat everything I said at least three times and she still got my order wrong. Got my name wrong. I even said "Leah" to make it easier and she reported back "Nia" to which I just nodded because screw it and I was so over it. When my food got to the window, with MY ticket on it, it was taken to another table, and that was after waiting almost 20 MINUTES. For a SALAD.
It was also pretty dirty in there. Bathrooms were really bad. The trash areas were all full and had dishes stacked precariously high in multiple piles. There was a huge streak of chicken salad or something smeared into the carpet in the middle of the restaurant, and many tables were still dirty or wiped poorly.
Oh, AND the kiosks where you are supposed to order food for convenience didn't work which is why I had to place my order with the incompetent cashier anyways.
And I feel bad slamming places like this. Most of my google reviews are positive. But this was a really bad experience. Like, it was terrible. My appetite pretty much shrunk to nothing by the time I got my food and then after tasting it I didn't even want it anymore.
One highlight: there were a few young workers in the back who seemed to actually be trying and you could tell they felt bad for the incompetence of their coworkers. They looked so embarrassed. I felt bad for them. They were really trying. I wish I caught their names. Two stars instead of one ONLY because of these workers. The hard workers all seemed to be in the 16-28 age range and consisted of a couple young, white men and one sweet, hustling black girl. If you see this review before they move on from Panera, please reward them somehow. They're the only ones keeping that place from not burning...
