Cesar's Tacos — Restaurant in Florida

This was our 1st time here and I honestly am not the one who looked this up my hubby did so I was expecting a brick and mortar...however when I saw food truck I was instantly happy...I dont know about you but FT's make me happy!!! So the folks are VERY friendly and the menu is easy...not too many items but enough to give you a good variety...I ordered 2 carne asada tacos w/cheese(and cilantro and onions)which were kinda bland and I had put the 2 green salsas on them and some salt but it wasnt until I added the red salsa on them that made the flavor POP...my hubby ordered 1 pollo and 1 carnitas tacos w/sour cream(and cilantro and onions) however he added a whole bunch of red salsa and he said his were good! Honestly I have had better but these were good...oh one thing is they are kinda small but you do get 2 corn tortillas...they were also COVID19 compliant as well...I would definitely recommend this place if your hungry want something simple to eat and fast...oh yes the food...

I was In Port Charlotte Coming from Sarasota, and I Worked as a Chef and on the Line in restaurants for 10+ Years. Food is my Passion. And i've had plenty of Tacos in Sarasota. The thing that sticks out to me are the little details that make it great. I ordered Tripe, Pastor, Chorizo, Carnita 1.) Food was Fresh, and right off the Press 2.) Flavor was Perfect Chorizo had lots of Flavor, Tripe tasted nice and Carmelized with a soft texture, and Pastor just have great flavor 3.)This is what made these special* The Tortillas where lightly oils, had Grill marks, but were not burnt. I can eat the Tortilla like that , and i'd be happy. But the was the Glue of the whole Taco, the Flavor, it wasn't too hard to eat. But the Tortilla was amazing.

And to top al of that off, The Gentleman who owns the Business, AKA Cesar. Down to Earth Stand up Person. So approachable, and nice. I'd Travel 50 minutes no problem to get these Tacos Hands down. ...
