Sitting in this restaurant now ( 7:39pm 06/04/2020 ).. currently we are on stage 3 of quarantine from COVID-19. Restaurants are currently at 25% occupancy. TWENTY FIVE PERENT OCCUPANCY! So, I guess I’m very confused as to how it takes 55 minutes to have nachos brought to your table. Mind you - I ordered beef, and received steak.. Ok, not terribly upset, maybe Ashley ( our waitress ) forgot to put the order in. She did mention she was new..
No, no, let’s rewind an hour and a half back when we were rang out for an order. ( By Aaron a different waitress who ran off with the $20 tip on a $58 check.) ok, I get it, we are all in panic mode.. not sure how you forget to not charge for a quesadilla.. we didn’t order. Mistakes happen right? Well, I guess the manager figured their mistake was worth us sitting here for another 2 hours. We were charged for 2 quesadillas ( one was taken back because it was the wrong order ). Waited 45 minutes before the manager decided to acknowledge us ( because now the place is filling up and they’re trying to use their brains to understand why we are still sitting here.. 45 minutes later.. ) to refund the quesadilla.. meanwhile my boss is screaming I need a drink, now I’m hungry so might as well give me a beef nachos while I wait on you to refund us.. we already sat here for this long now I’m hungry! So here we are 2 hours after being checked out... FINALLY receiving the nachos. Pretty sure I ordered beef nachos, I guess they upgraded me to steak...
Moral of the story. Slow service - wrong orders & the staff does not pay attention to you, or your order. Ashley you’re awesome, it’s not your fault you’re brand spanking new.. but damn the rest of you, need to get your sh** together. You’re at 25% occupancy.. I can’t imagine if they were at 100%. FREE DESERT FOR EVERYBODY. Pft.
UPDATE: it’s 8:20pm, Ashley just brought us another free desert. Can we check out now.. she’s awesome & I am so sorry I had to write this review, because it is not...
Read moreWe are here on vacation in decided to go to chili’s since I was craving the Alex’s Santa Fe burger. Our waiter Saul was nice and polite. Thats where anything good I have to say about this restaurant ends, hence the one star. I ordered my burger bunless and well done, sauce on the side and an order of broccoli. When it came to the table it was a hockey puck, totally crispy and burnt on the outside, no jalapeños no avocado like the description states. I sent it back. Next burger is cooked better still no avocado, no jalapeños, now no sauce. I asked Saul why were these ingredients missing, he leaves comes back a few minutes later and states there’s no jalapeños because we have none. Oh ok thanks for letting me know in advance. So that’s great, apparently a Santa Fe burger is an overcooked patty with a slice of pepper jack cheese. While I waited for my “meal” I heard the hostess discourage people from wanting to be seated because someone got fired, someone quit and the kitchen can barely keep up or keep it together. Then I hear a waitress tell the same story to the table across from us. All I’m hearing is a bunch of nonsense and poor management happening at this location. In the end I wasn’t charged for my meal, and did not find that out until the bill was dropped at our table and I took a look to see what the damage was, zero communication from the waiter. Never apologized or said I want being charged. Which is a good thing because I wasn’t going to eat the damn thing with half the ingredients missing from it! I was so looking forward to that burger, and I left there drunk from the two vodka and waters I had waiting for my order and watching my husband eat his dinner. Oh and if you like flavored vodka, don’t bother ordering at chili’s all the have is absolute citron which tastes like...
Read moreI go to this chili’s at least once a month and it has gone completely downhill. I went tonight around 8pm the restaurant was about half sat no wait. We sat down and waited a good 15min for drinks let alone for our server to appear. I believe her name was Anna (not completely sure) she was very out of it but full of energy which just isn’t right. She took our order on a brown paper towel a good 20/30 min after our drinks got brought to the table. She didn’t know the children’s menu to save her life and kept trying to order the wrong items. After that we waited a good 30/40 min for our food to arrive it was nasty to say the least. My child’s grilled chicken bites were tenders, my steak was definitely sitting out for a good period of time before coming to my table and was cold on the first bite. My husband ordered a medium burger and it was burnt and well done. I know with Covid there has been a lot of change with staff but this service was unacceptable I will drive the extra 15min to the other chili’s from now on. We did have the manger come to our table at the end to tell him about our troubles. Our server decided she needed to stand there and say I asked you multiple times if your food was okay but what she didn’t realize is when you are acting like you are on dru*s a lot of our complaint is with you as well. When she told us our final check price she didn’t leave the table until receiving payment I’m sorry but the bad service and nasty food isn’t earning you any type of tip. Especially if your expecting one. Better service and better food would of earned you a tip well over 20% around the Hollidays...
