Now I do like chili's as their is pretty good no matter what you get on the menu and the staff are very nice when you go for dine in. However when doing take out it's a gamble whether or not they will take care of you. I placed an order at around 5:15 and had it scheduled for a pick up at 6:15 so that the staff have time to get it ready since I did place the order on mother's day. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 ready to pick up my food and when checking the email I got it states "We'll text you once your order is ready and it's time to head inside to pick up your order". I waited in the parking spot reserved for to go orders and waited for the text. After 10 minutes I didnt receive any text but I figured that since it's mother's day and the restaurant is packed that they may be a little behind so I decided to wait a little longer. After another 10 minutes I noticed a car had pulled up, they had walked in and came out with their food in a span of 3 minutes. So after waiting 20 mins I decided to just walk in and check if my food is ready or at the very least get a staus for my order. I walk in and lo and behold my order sitting perfectly on the counter, in front an employee who walked away as soon as I walked (again it's mother's day so the restaurant is pretty busy so I didnt raise a fuss), i pick up my order with my name and phone number on it and find thats it's cold so at the very least it's been sitting on the counter for a good while. At the very least I'm able to heat it up at home but what's the point of the email that says that the Store will text me when it's ready when the restaurant doesn't even use it. This isn't the first time something like this has happened but normally I get a call letting me know what's going on with my order if it's gonna be late but this is just so disappointing. If you have time I just recommend dine in but if you wanna do take out it's just recommend that if your pickup time is something like 5:30 to just park at your pick up time and just walk in the lobby where you do pick up. It's honestly better to find if your order is ready or to just wait in the lobby for it to come up rather than gamble on whether or not the staff will actually text or contact you if your order is ready. I even left a tip when I placed my order but after the way I was treated or rather the lack thereof just shows they don't deserve this tip. Again this was my disappointing experience with the restaurant so I don't know if this happens to everyone but it...
Read moreMy family and I were in town for a good friend's birthday. We met up with our friends at this Chili's and it was BY FAR the worst restaurant in history! We had a 30 minute wait to be seated, no big deal, but when we finally got the text it was our turn to be seated the host became rude when we asked if could please have a table and not a booth. We again had to wait for a table to open up. Once we were seated our waiter never introduced himself and just asked what drinks we wanted. We ordered our drinks and dinner meals. My husband and I got the 2 for 25$ deal and so did our friends (2 people), and we also ordered a kids meal for our toddler. We got our drinks and apps that came with the deal about 25 minutes after ordering.. however our friends ordered an additional app that we didn't see till another 30 minutes. Our waiter had the whole side of the restaurants table numbers wrong and was having to show other staff where food was going each time they randomly brought stuff out. We got out food over an hour after sitting at our table. Half of our meals were cold and the other half was warm. Not to mention we asked twice if they could please just bring our toddlers food out since they had us waiting so long... when he did, it was the wrong meal and really for a table two tables down for their toddler. They didn't bring our toddlers food till a few minutes after ours and it was cold. When it was time for the checks, our waited gave my husband and I a bill that was 30$ more than it should of been! I looked over the bill and saw that he had added each food item individually instead of giving us their menu deal of 2 for 25$! We called him over to correct it and he did the same with our friends bill. Two tables down, who sat down when we did, still hadn't gotten their food and spoke with a Manger who literally asked if there was a problem. When they expressed similar issues, she just apologized and walked off. That table left. When we left, our waited gave a quiet sorry and nothing more. The bathrooms were disgusting and one toilet flooded the floors! A woman before me was speaking to staff about it. This was my family and I's first time eating at a chili's and we will NEVER return to another!...
Read moreAbsolutely awful experience.
I decided to go out with my kids to eat. We had stopped coming here years ago due to bad service. Tried again a couple months ago and we had an amazing experience, wonderful waitress, and delicious food. Two times in a row.
This last experience completely ruined everything. Our waiter, Alexander, is abysmal.
Takes him forever to come greet us, about 15 minutes from sitting down. Once he does and we order our drinks and appetizer, it’s about 10 minutes before we finally get our drinks (from another waitress) and then it’s 20 minutes before we finally ask our server where the appetizer is.
He completely forgot about it. When he brought it out, it was the wrong order. He then told us they were out of what we ordered. Though the manager ended up bringing out what we ordered.
Every time we needed refills, we had to ask a different server. Alexander wouldn’t come by, or if he did he completely ignored the empty cups. We even tried asking him as he walked by, he would look at us and just keep going. Ignoring us.
Finally, after about an hour the food comes. My steak was cold, and no fries with any of our orders. We were assured the fries would be right out (a different server brought out our food).
Well, no fries came. Other tables got their fries. Finally, once again another server intervened and suddenly the fries come out. By then my steak is cold, and I just send it back and ask for it to be removed from my ticket.
Awful, terrible experience. Chilis food is amazing, the other waitress we got the last two times was phenomenal. Alexander, is not. I’m willing to forgive a mistake or two. I’m not one to usually complain, and I always leave very big tips to every service person. But this was...
