Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Florida

Went here a few weeks ago...ordered chips and salsa for starters...took 10 minutes to get that. Keep in mind the restaurant only had 8 tables with people at them, yes I got up and counted. We ordered our food and a bowl of chili, which she asked if we wanted it before our food and we said yes. In the meantime we needed a refill on our tea, which I had to get up and get from the bartender. One of our meals came out, but not the other, and the chili did not come with the first meal. When we asked, she said “oh let me go check on that”, but did not return to our table until the 2nd meal was brought along with the chili. Needess to say at this point my husband was done with his food so I took mine, and our chili, home. Thought it was a fluke so tonight we gave it another go and ordered takeout this time. I tried to place a to go order but was put on hold for five minutes. So I hung up call back and pushed the number for the manager. I placed my order at 9:28 PM. I was told our food will be ready in 10 minutes my receipt shows that I placed the order at 9:28, I paid for it at 9:38. While I was waiting to get our food I heard them say you need to drop some fries. And then was told by Ami, that our food will be ready soon. While I was waiting I hear somebody in the back and they said “yo I need some celery bitch“ Which I find extremely unprofessional. I took a picture of the time that my food was brought to me which was 9:51 PM. I find it extremely unacceptable that you place an order at 9:28 for two burgers and your food is not ready until 9:51?? The fries should not have been put down to be cooked after I paid for my food. If you say 10 minutes you mean 10 minutes not over 20 just for two burgers. This is the second bad experience I have had in this restaurant. The first time I was there the waitress was so concentrated on the table behind us by refilling their margarita pitcher that she completely overlooked us time and time again hence me having to get up and go refill our sweet teas. The only thing I have eaten at this restaurant are burgers, and the sad thing is the burgers are good, better than the ones here in Fort Myers. However the service and this restaurant absolutely SUCKS!!!! I can’t possibly be the only person that is complaining about this somebody needs to do something, I don’t know whether Ami is a manager or not but if she is then shame on her and if she’s not then somebody needs to do something. I do have my receipts of the time I placed the order the time I picked it up and a pic of the time I left. At no point either time was anything offered to encourage me to come back, maybe five, 10% off your next meal, maybe free chips and salsa, nothing, no apology. I find that unacceptable If I could leave zero stars I would, but you have to leave at least one to post, so you got one star, but know that absolutely zero...

Stopped in here yesterday during our trip back home. Wasn't packed at all, thankfully since it was a Sunday. We were greeted by someone from the bar area, sho apologized about the hostess being MIA. Didn't care about that really because she sat us down with our menus. Apparently though, that side of the restaurant had no a/c she said and advised to not sit there. Once we got to our seat, we sat there for over 15 minutes. I saw multiple servers walk past us, make eye contact with us and serve the 3 tables surrounding us. I normally would have gotten up and left, but my husband really wanted one of the burgers from here and it being Arcadia, there isn't much choice in places to eat. One waitress finally came over and apologized about shift changing and no one knew who had out table. She took our drink and appetizer order. When she returned with our drinks, she advised us who our waitress was which I thought was funny as she was one of the waitresses who walked past us several times and had tables near us. Took her a few minutes to come take our order and wasn't friendly at all. Our appetizer came, it was okay. The batter on some of the pickles is a hit and miss anywhere we order them from, so this time is no different. The batter wasn't fried fully on some of them. Our food arrived and our waitress still hasn't come by for refills on drinks at this point. She finally takes my husband's cup, not sure why as she could refill it with a pitcher (sweet tea), and takes a good minute to bring it back. I ended up sharing my stink with him and when she did bring it back, it was a brand new glass and straw. No complaints there, just on the time it took her to serve it to him. My husband ordered the Southern smokehouse burger and I had the Honey Chipotle tenders with waffles. The fries from both of our plates, where horrible. We didn't even touch them aside from a initial taste test. We just had a really bad experience here with service and I will not ever stop back there for awhile. Thankfully the only money I spent there was my total bill. I did not leave our waitress a tip as she did not have table side manners...

I went last night for dinner. There was a waiting list. We were told it was going to be 15 to 20 minutes thought it was a little weird that the hostesses little sister was helping her with her job however after sitting there for roughly 5 minutes another couple walked in one of the servers walked over and said are you on the list yet and they said no and she said that's okay come this way and she took him to a high top in the bar meanwhile the lobby was full there was people standing outside as well I thought this was an incredibly rude as the rest of us were waiting I said something to the hostess and she just simply Shrugged her shoulders I've been a Hostess before what that server did was wrong and it was wrong for the hostess not to say anything about the waiting list we sat there for a little while longer then we got a table with a absolutely fantastic server and I'm sorry but I don't remember her name she gave great service however the kitchen she ended up having them refire the food because they did not cook it correctly the first time the quality that I got on the rushed refire was not the same quality as the first plate of food that was not able to be eaten because of having to wait longer for the table and for the food to get refried we ended up having to take it to go because we did not have any more time to spend there at the restaurant as we had some place to be this all started just before 7:00 p.m. and because of having to wait even longer for a table because that server took people ahead of us that was not on the list and the kitchen screwed up the cook on my original order I did not get to eat at the restaurant and did not even get to eat the refire until almost 11:00 at night complete waste of money by the time I was able to eat it was actually kind of gross the pasta had absorbed all...
