IL Primo Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Port Charlotte

I personally don't care for pizza, but my kids do, so we have pizza nights occasionally, and I begrudgingly eat it; however, after being at this location several times, I can say they converted me to enjoying pizza, their pizza only. We went to this location again on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 after Soccer practice and Elliot greeted us, made us feel welcomed and took our order. Everytime we go, the restaurant is immaculate and I am taken care of with such attentiveness. We rarely go anywhere to sit down and eat because customer service isn't what it once used to be, but it can honestly say I've never had a bad experience at this place, its one thing they seem to take pride in. I love getting their combo, with 2 pizzas and 20 wings. Their wings are the BEST.. I order the garlic parmesan wings extra crispy, and everytime they come out perfect and loaded with flavor. I order the pizzas light sauce, well done, and they come out perfect every time as well. What's really cool is you earn points everytime you purchase, and Elliot reminded me the points don't expire and I can roll them over too rack up more. I almost have enough to enjoy a dinner...

Out of four main pizza places in town, iL Primo Pizza & Wings is still the best!

I’ve eaten at the one at North Port, since 2019, when they first opened. Til this day, they’re food has been exactly the same, the best.

Life is like the simple things. If you can’t do the easy things well, don’t expect to do anything else well.

iL Primo makes the best pizza and wings. I always get their cheese pizza and garlic buffalo wings.

With their new location opening here, their food quality was not changed at all.

Skip Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa John’s. I’ve always had issues with those locations. Either the pizza was burnt, the wings were crazy tiny AND undercooked with blood still inside the chicken, and the staff at those locations are too inconsistent.

Excellent experience. You can tell a lot about a company's guest service culture by how they handle a mistake. For some reason our dine in pizza was half cheese and half pepperoni. The server was bright and apologetic and offered to replace the pizza while we ate what we had. They boxed up the replacement and kept it warm for us until we left, which was a pleasant surprise! There was a face painter there but no kids yet at about 6pm on a Friday. The young lady who greeted us upon arrival and brought us our food was so polite and friendly even before the hiccup and is a great asset to the company. She was working 3-7-25.
