Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Florida

I ordered an ice cream cake online for a pickup date about a week out from when I initially ordered. I showed up at the time I had scheduled online to pick up the cake. I was told by the lady working that she didn't have an order for me. I showed her on my phone where I had confirmation and it was for the right location and date/time. I was about to panic. She was quick to take charge of the situation and do everything in her power to make it right. She was able to get the cake that I ordered ready for me...I just had to give her a little time. I was happy to oblige. I gave her the 2 hours she said she needed and returned for the cake. The cake was beautiful and DELICIOUS. I really appreciated how the employee handled this situation and even though my experience wasn't without a hitch, I'd still use them again and recommend to anyone looking for an ice cream cake. We made a special trip to this location as my wife had been wanting to get a cotton candy blizzard. She had called the store the day before and said they would have it by 5pm today. So we headed over there around 6pm. The first lady working said they wouldn't have it until later, so I asked when, then another guy said that they could make it now. After a few other people ordered the manager?(if you can call him that) said they had just gotten the supplies in today and he could make if with different sprinkles (because he was too lazy to find the other ones). So they made us a small sample, my wife did not like it and we asked for a refund. After asking for the refund the manager tried to take the blizzard I had already been eating back.. We told him this was very rude and he didn't care at all. He then gave us $10.38 for the 2 blizzards she had ordered (didn't refund us the tax at all, which is illegal) I then told him that he was wrong and he refused to listen. Stopped in too indulge a treat and upon entering, no hello, no smile and basically no words whatsoever until we ordered. We are dedicated local customers and last time we came out here, that was great service but this time around this woman that was working, August 19 2023 and 230pm didn’t seem to want to work at all. Ordered a blizzard and a shake and when she handed them over, she slid them to us on the counter and did not turn over the blizzard as you all are supposed to. You give it free if it’s not done. We called her out on it and all she said was “oh you want me to turn it over ?” which she did then) and slid it back and said “there ya go” and slid it back and chuckled and took care of another customer without no words again.
