We absolutely love this place!!! Every time we order for pick up or delivery they never let us down. They are always prompt and food is always great! My husband loves his pizza a certain way (almost burnt and SUPER thin) and they never fail to make it perfect! Their ingredients are also good quality! The owner Egi and the staff are super great and so nice! Egi (owner) always makes sure everything is perfect for us when we order. When I call he is always so cheerful and we chat about family and other things before I give my order. He always makes sure to bring the food out to me when I pick up and has me check it just in case we want it cooked more....not that he ever disappoints us...it is always cooked to perfection! I ordered tonight and yet again it was perfect! A few weeks ago I called on a Sunday before Memorial Day and ordered delivery. He delivered to me but had issues getting into our gate so I drove up to meet him and tried to add gratuity and he told me no they closed out the register and there was no need. I felt so bad that they were closed and he didnt even say anything when I called to place the order that they were closed and just made our food without hesistation. He made the pizza himself and delivered it and mentioned quietly as I took took the pizza from his hands. Not to show me he did that to take credit but just because if I had added a tip to the slip he could not process it and said not to worry! (one time I had no cash). That was the sweetest thing ever! I still felt terrible and made sure to make it up the next time we ordered. Although he is the owner and does not need anything I was insistent to make it up because he didnt have to do that for me. My husband and his family have been in the italian restaurant & pizza business in South Florida for years sicne the 70's and recenlty retired so we were thrilled to find Danny's when we moved to Boynton. We tried other restaurants and were not happy at all. If anyone is a critic it is my husband and he absolutely loves their pizza. I also love their salads (The Mediterania with grilled chicken and the grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad are my favorite and tasty). I recommend this location (Jog Road/Woolbright Shoppes) to anyone in the area. Great food, great caring and professional owner and staff as well. I have had salads from the other location Danny's on Boynton Beach Blvd. and they are great as well. Thank you EGI and staff at Danny's Pizza (Woolbright Shoppes/Jog Road) Sincerely, Stephanie & Steven Lopiccolo (See...
Read moreI am a huge fan of Danny’s pizza and was excited there was a closer location (express). I visited for the first time today, after placing an order online (the online process was seamless, and I was called immediately when they needed to make a substitution based on availability of items). I really appreciated that feature.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. I questioned the cleanliness/sanitation of the facility after observing a young toddler eating behind the counter of the restaurant over pizzas that would be served to customers. The presence of a toddler in the kitchen seems to be both a health concern (especially in light of a global pandemic— eating over others’ food at any time is just unsanitary), and it’s also a safety concern for the child themselves...I don’t think a commercial kitchen and a young toddler is a safe combination. I understood the child belonged to the employee, and life circumstances can make finding childcare difficult, but I would not have been alarmed if the child was sitting at a table in the dining room/not in the kitchen. The fact that the young child was eating in the kitchen, over the area where other food is being prepared, made me wonder if the rest of the kitchen was sanitary/taking appropriate COVID-19 precautions, and I rejected my order based on what I observed. I was provided a refund, but I feel that any restaurant should really strive to follow appropriate health and safety practices, especially considering that COVID-19 is still prevalent in the community. I’m disappointed to say that I will not be returning, my prior experiences at the other DPK location have been very nice, and the...
Read moreNo one wants to feel like they are being ripped off. When you go to the web site and see one price and you show up and the pizza is $4 more and then they add 3% for using a credit card it is infuriating. To make it worse they took my phone where I had the price from their web site, went to a different page, and told me I was wrong. Call it what you want, false advertising, bait and switch, or plain theft. Charging for using a credit card is also insulting. I drove in to pick up my pizza and had to pay over $30 for an average pizza. Six dollars more than expected. I'm sorry I did not read the reviews prior to supporting this place with my business for the first and last time. Seems like I'm not the only one to have this problem with the business. Also no warning they charged for using credit cards, it just showed up on the receipt. The guy says he does not know where I'm getting my information and shows me a web page of high prices. Not like I saw a posted menu or prices when I arrived. Add this place to a list of businesses that have no respect for fair business practices and who totally disrespect their customers. I didn't want a free pizza, just to pay their advertised price. They also make you pay before you see the check so they have your money before you realize they ripped you off.
As far as the pizza? It was good, nothing special. But for the price, it wasn't very good. To be fair I was trying it for the first time after being upset by being overcharged and being told I was wrong in expecting the price I saw on their website to be the price I was going to pay.
Primavera pizza was $24.50. I posted a screenshot. I...
