Dunkin' — Restaurant in Florida

As with every fast food establishment or Eatery you have a few negative experiences which often times can overshadow all of your positive experiences. But at this location I can say that I've had many more positive experiences than negative experiences. Some of the staff can have bad attitudes at times, but overall most of the staff is very friendly and will greet you with a smile. I had a bad experience at a nother location and the manager at this location made it right. The other location was privately owned in this location would have received nothing in return for remaking my order and giving it to me at no charge. I really appreciate it that kind gesture. Once my mother's coffee was made with sugar and she's diabetic and cannot have any sugar. I took it back to this location and they remade it and apologized very sincerely. So this location has its ups and downs but the one constant is they always try very hard to make it right. The food at this location is better than the other location in the area. And they make a very very good latte or macchiato. Five stars from me. nobody's perfect, but they try really hard to meet customers needs. Also this location is always clean and as you can see from my photos that usually draw a crowd because of the great food, coffees...

Every time I have gone to this specific Dunkin in Fleming Island, I have had bad service. In the drive thru, I waited over 30 minutes. The next time I went in, ordering early thru the mobile app, thinking "Oh this will be soo much faster". My stuff wasn't ready when I got there. Ordering 10 minutes before, and I had to continue to wait 20 minutes in store. Fast forward to today, Friday Nov 5th. I called the 3rd to place a large order of donuts and coffee for my husband's business grand opening on Saturday the 6th. I called today to confirm that they did indeed have my order. The guy tells me "oh yea we just write those orders on a piece of paper and leave it by the register so it probably got thrown away, but I don't know. I don't usually get told things. But I can retake that order I just have to go do something real quick" ... I waited on the phone for 15 minutes. I have proceeded to call back 25 times for the past 2 hrs. There continues to be the same busy tone as there was immediately after I hung up. I presume this is because the employee took the phone and put it on the counter and still has not realized he never came back to take my order. AWFUL SERVICE. I have literally NEVER left a review on anything, but this...

Update - 4/24: why oh why did I decide to give this lousy location another chance?!? Perhaps because of its convenience near my home. But I instantly regretted it. Not only have they discontinued an item that is currently being promoted on the app (???) and the so-called "help" continues to be rude, but now they are also personally confused. Such a sad generation. SMH

April, 2023... Sadly not much has changed at this location. Without question the WORST Dunkin' in Jax. Should be renamed Stunkin'. Service is Terrible with a capital T, and they almost always run out of donuts by noon. Keep in mind this is a donut business which stays open till 8pm, but they're out of their signature product by noon. On my last visit I asked why this is always the case and the girl said, "oh... well we usually only make enough for the morning." SMH.

Original review from 2018: Coffee is excellent. After all, it IS Dunkin. However, the drive thru wait time is consistently terrible, even when there is only one car in line. As a new resident on the Island, I have been coming here for 6 months now and I can honestly say this is the worst DD (in terms of speed of service)...
