Is this Dunkin’ secretly running a social experiment on how bad a coffee shop can be before people just give up? Because wow, they are nailing it. I live five minutes away, so against my better judgment, I keep trying to give this place another shot. And every time, it’s like a new level of disappointment unlocks.
The orders? Never right. The drinks? Either sad, watery messes or a dairy overload that tastes like someone dared them to ruin your day. And the food? Half the time it’s still frozen like they just tossed it at the sun for five seconds and called it “heated.”
As for the service—what service? The vibe at the window is less “friendly neighborhood coffee stop” and more “hostage exchange.” No greeting, no smile, no “thank you,” just vibes… and not the good kind. Who’s in charge here? A raccoon with a grudge?
That said, shoutout to the one glimmer of hope: the new blonde girl on early mornings. She’s actually polite, friendly, and seems to know what she’s doing. Honestly, she deserves a medal (and a transfer to a better location). Because the rest of this crew? Yikes. Time to hit reset, Dunkin’. This place needs divine intervention—or at least a...
Read moreI don’t know how this happens every time I come here.
This Dunkin is the closest one to me and I don’t even know why I keep coming and expecting anything different. Every single order is always messed up. I even stopped ordering my “fancy” drinks cause they obviously just don’t listen. But even when I order an iced coffee with just caramel and oat milk it’s always wrong. Every time I come I’m just anticipating what is gonna be wrong with it today. Is it gonna have caramel? Is it gonna be made with cream? Is it even gonna be coffee? And their food half the time is still frozen and cold. Are they not supposed to cook their food anymore? Is this how their food is supposed to be? Do I need to ask for it to be cooked? I didn’t think I had to.
But there is this one blonde girl who I see in the mornings sometimes. She’s always very sweet and probably the only one to get my order right. It’s sad seeing such a nice and hardworking girl working in an establishment that clearly can’t put in half the effort she does.
At this point I’m giving up on this Dunkin getting my order right and I’ll go to the one that’s almost 20 minutes...
Read moreTrying to get a to-go order. People at the counter were being largely ignored. Cashier mumbled a lot under his mask, so I could barely understand him. He literally dumped the donuts into the bag. The bottom one was upside down and by the time I pulled it out, almost all the topping was stuck to the bottom of the bag. I tried using a gift card. I kept trying to hand it to him and he just kept pointing at the card reader and grunting something. After a couple of tries I had to tell him explicitly, this is a gift card, are you sure it works this way? He finally took the card and had no idea what to do. He tried sliding it 4 different ways, tried scanning it, told me the card didn't work...... then finally figured it out and the card worked.
This is not the first time I've been in there where all the staff is concerned about the drive thru window and ignored the people at...
