If I could give this place a zero rating I would. I have never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from an establishment, especially from the actual management. Smh. I frequented this DD location this morning at 8 am at the drive thru. First off I order a small matcha latte iced and a plant based breakfast sandwich with no egg or cheese just the patty and side of hash browns. That was a huge mistake. When they mess up your order they are going to treat you as though you are the problem or that you need to just accept it. Literally they completely got my order incorrect. They gave me an iced coffee instead of the matcha and then gave me egg and cheese. So I checked my order and seen that it was wrong so I inform the girl at the window. She seems annoyed initially but then eventually takes my order back to go and fix the error. I’m waiting at window while they work on fixing the mistake. Then the girl gives me back the bag of food but it’s still wrong missing my hash browns and then she gives me the correct drink during this time a man approaches the window saying he has a line of people waiting that he has to take care of and for me to clear up his line. I am stunned and in disbelief and thought maybe I heard wrong. I ask him what he said and he repeats himself without hesitation. I inform him that I am a paying customer who happens to be at the window due to the mistake they made and I hadn’t received my order placed and the food I was given was wrong. I tell him that he doesn’t have the right to treat me or speak to me the way he has. He begins speaking over me saying I got the food now so I can get out of his line. I am in disbelief. I ask to speak to the manager and he says he is the assistant manager and begins yelling at me that I can get out of his line if I don’t like it. He has nothing else for me or to say to me. I tell him I will be filing a complaint he continues shouting at me telling me to get out of his line. Smh. I can’t make this up. I wish I was making this up. Outrageous. I usually choose Starbucks over DD and now I see why. I had to contact corporate to file a complaint and went and got a complete refund since I paid cash for my purchase. I didn’t even want the food anymore at that point I didn’t even eat it Bc I just couldn’t stomach the way I was treated. Read moreThis a beautiful store, located in a beautiful upscale location. My husband and I come here several times a week, and we have chosen this location over some others in the same area because of the pleasant atmosphere. However, lately the atmosphere has been changing due to a few (not all) employees. In the last few visits we have heard arguing between employees, been met with eye rolls when we came to the counter with an incorrectly made order, and an event that made me finally write this review. I asked the very pleasant young man behind the counter (the type of employee I would expect at this location) a question about the DD rewards card. He was still in training and didn't know the answer to my question, so he asked a co-worker (Rolande) to come talk to us. She was about four feet away and didn't look at him or even glance our way as she brushed him off and said, "no time," and went back to the drive-thru. The poor young man in training tried and cover for Rolande, but I saw and heard everything she said. I hope that whoever owns this store makes a few changes to their employees, based on the customers they serve in this area. Saturday at 1045 in the morning, people around the building in the drive thru and out the door inside. The employees do not greet the customers. They don't even ask you want you'd like to order or "how may I help you." They just stare at you with an ungrateful face waiting for you to speak. They roll their eyes at you when you're trying to pick out your donuts and sigh when you pause for a split second. (Not my order, just a witness to this experience)
I ordered two bagels, that's it! No coffee/drinks. I stood there waiting for my order number to be called and when my order was surpassed by 10 more, I asked about my food. The server grabbed my bag and shook it in my face yelling "RIGHT HERE GEEZ!!"
