My first time there and I bought breakfast. Definitely will be coming back. I'm a customer!!! For the establishment to be in a gas station store I was impressed with the cleanliness, display of food, customer service and their smiles. The food is excellent and serve hot. I got alot for $7. Grits and eggs with bacon and pancakes on the side. Might try their lunch too.

Thought gas station? Then I called and was told it's in the store. Went in and was impressed; the food was absolutely amazing and the portions were gigantic for $4! Where is anywhere else that does that?? Then I met the owner Johnny and he told me the restaurant was named after his mom and she taught him how to cook. Whew, Miss Edna you taught Johnny right!

A friend and I had our first visit here today. The place is a bit tricky to find but well worth the extra effort. Dee is very welcoming and enthusiastic about the food she is serving. My friend is a picky eater but commented on the flavor of the mac and cheese. I have never seen chicken drumsticks this size - they are huge! I ate one for lunch and am saving the other one for later. We have yet to try the Beef-a-roni but have high hopes for it as well. All in all I heartily recommend this place and hope many other guests will try it as well. This is truly one of Tampa's...

Goodmorning! Just had breakfast from here through door dash ( Lisa G) The pork chops , grits and eggs with biscuits was just what I needed. also the bacon and sausage with grits was good and plenty. I needed this in my life considering I just got out the hospital last night. Oh and the pancakes and the syrup was everything. May God continue to bless you. One little thing I suggest...a little more butter...
